Chapter 112：Subtle Touch of Emotion

When Li Weijie was taking a shower, looking at himself, who had already calmed down, and recalling the experiences of last night, it felt like a dream. 

It was almost difficult to distinguish whether it was a dream, fantasy, or reality. 

However, there was a slight soreness from excessive exercise below, reminding him that Tangjie had indeed brought him immense satisfaction.

Thinking of Lin Ruotong's words, asking him to forget what had happened and continue to interact as before. But can such things be forgotten just by saying it? Li Weijie secretly thought Tangjie wouldn't be able to forget it either, right?

Afraid that Su Keko had been waiting for a long time, he quickly changed into a set of clothes and went downstairs in a hurry.

To his surprise, Su Keko was not downstairs!

Li Weijie was taken aback, could this girl have gone to snoop around Tangjie's things again?

He felt a little disappointed in his heart. He took out his phone and dialed. The phone was placed at the door of the room where they were gathered, and Tangjie and Su Keko each helped him to get it. She had just returned it to him.

"Are you ready?" 

Hearing Su Keko's clear voice, Li Weijie hesitated for a moment, "You... didn't you say we would have dinner together? Why did you leave on your own? Something came up suddenly?"

"No, I've been waiting for you outside all this time. I even mentioned it to you. You were just in such a hurry and closed the door without giving me a chance to come in!" Su Keko complained softly.

"Is that so? I'll come out right away." Li Weijie hurriedly hung up the phone and quickly went downstairs. He scolded himself for being too anxious earlier and rushed out like that. He felt embarrassed to face her.

When he reached the door, he couldn't help but pause. The front door was still open!

As he pushed the door open and stepped outside, there was no sign of Su Keko at all. Her sports car was also nowhere to be seen.

Li Weijie couldn't help but smile bitterly. It seemed that he had been fooled by her again. He had hurried down for nothing.

Just as he stood outside feeling lost, a sleek pink sports car, like a dancing elf, swiftly approached and stopped beside him.

Opening the car door, Su Keko stuck her tongue out at Li Weijie, "I couldn't just wait there, so I took a little stroll."

Seeing her appear in front of him so quickly, Li Weijie quickly set aside his frustration and walked to her side. He had ridden in her car more than once or twice, so it didn't feel strange. 

Now that he was standing outside, he realized how fast she could go. 

Unable to resist, he spoke with a slightly reproachful tone, "Don't drive so fast, it's dangerous, you know?"

Su Keko listened in surprise and then said softly, "Oh, I see."

Li Weijie found her extremely fast speed astonishing. Although the sports car performed well, if there was a minor malfunction while driving at high speeds, it could easily lead to problems. The words he spoke with a lecturing tone just slipped out naturally, thinking that she would say something like, "What's it to you?" But to his surprise, she accepted his advice meekly.

This left him amazed and made him take a closer look at Su Keko.

Seeing him looking at her, Su Keko lowered her head and explained in a low voice, "I'm not always like this. I was afraid you would come out and not find me, so I hurried a bit."

With such a good attitude, Li Weijie became even more puzzled. Something didn't seem right. A young person who liked to drive fast would normally get annoyed when someone tried to lecture them, so why was she so obedient in accepting his advice?

"Hehe, we first met around here, and it was because I splashed water on you when I was driving too fast. Otherwise, we wouldn't have met," Su Keko recalled his stern face from before and couldn't help but giggle. 

"Hey, do you know, your face looked so grumpy, it was like I had just beaten you up!"

Li Weijie felt embarrassed, he had been a bit too excited back then. "Well, let's forget about the past, why bring up embarrassing things? Don't drive so fast in the future, it's not good to harm yourself or others, and regrets are too late."

Su Keko looked up at his eyes and after a while, nodded seriously, "Ajie, I understand."

Her expression wasn't fake. In Su Keko's heart at this moment, there was no impatience or unhappiness. She felt that Li Weijie's words, though spoken in a scold, were like a melodious voice!

It wasn't that she had a masochistic tendency, but her parents and older brother were always busy with business affairs. 

Even when they were rarely at home, they were either busy with official duties or entertaining guests. 

Where would they have time to discuss her daily affairs?

Originally, it was just a normal word of advice, but because no one had ever said that to her before, Li Weijie's words, to her, were not just a friend's concern but rather a feeling of familial care that she had always lacked. She was deeply grateful for it and earnestly promised.

"Wait a moment, I'll lock the door." Li Weijie quickly walked away.

After locking the door and getting in the car, Su Keko drove slowly as she hadn't gone very far. 

"This is for you."

Li Weijie took the convenient soup box she handed over and asked curiously, "What is it?"

"It's congee from Lao Gao Ji. You haven't eaten anything for a long time, and your stomach must be empty. Drinking some congee will make you feel more comfortable and increase your appetite." Su Keko said softly.

Li Weijie didn't expect her to specifically buy it for him, let alone travel to Lao Gao Ji. He felt touched, "Do you mean to say that you went specifically to buy congee for me?"

Under his direct gaze, Su Keko's face blushed slightly, and she looked at him without shifting her gaze. "Not exactly... I was a little bored and suddenly thought of it, so I went to take a look."

Li Weijie knew that she had indeed bought it for him, going all the way to Lao Gao Ji. He felt moved, "With this kind of intention, even if it's just a bowl of congee, it will be the most memorable one in my life."

I'm not a very refined person, suddenly saying such an emotional thing, Li Weijie was quite admiring himself, but also felt a bit embarrassed. He hurriedly added, "Hehe, even if there's wasabi in it, I will finish it all. It will still be the most delicious congee!"

This time, Su Keko bought the congee specifically for Li Weijie, without any intention to tease him. Naturally, this congee didn't have wasabi inside like the sandwiches last time.

Lao Gao Ji was a famous old pot congee shop. Li Weijie didn't expect the plain congee to be so good. He couldn't tell if it was because the congee was truly delicious, or because he was hungry, or because of Su Keko's thoughtfulness that made him enjoy it even more. 

In any case, the congee tasted exceptionally delicious, and he finished the whole bowl.

"Hey, it's just to whet your appetite, you don't have to be so ravenous, you know?" Su Keko saw him finish it all and couldn't help but laugh. 

"Be careful not to get too desperate again."

"Hey, beautiful lady. Mind your imagination. What do you mean by ravenous? What do you mean by getting too desperate?" Li Weijie tried to maintain a serious face.

Su Keko innocently smiled, "Isn't it?"

Since he had been hungry for so long and had finished the congee, Su Keko didn't drive far away and found a restaurant nearby.

Li Weijie had a big appetite, and although it was not advisable to indulge after being hungry for so long, he couldn't resist the temptation of numerous delicious dishes.

He noticed that Su Keko was eating very little. At first, he thought she wasn't hungry, but then he felt something was off. It seemed like she was stealing glances at him, but when he caught her, she quickly looked away towards the window.

"Keko, why are you eating so little? I feel like you have something on your mind." 

After all, they were boyfriend and girlfriend, so Li Weijie naturally became concerned.

"Not to your liking?"

"... " Su Keko shook her head.

"So what's the matter? I have a feeling that you have something on your mind... Is it something you can't tell me?"

Su Keko fell silent for a moment, then looked at him and mumbled, "This time... I talked to my dad and told him... about our relationship, I said you are my boyfriend..."

Li Weijie nodded, "I know, I'm very grateful to you and your dad. I should thank him in person."

"He... wants to meet you," Su Keko finished and looked at Li Weijie.

"What? Are you serious?" Li Weijie was shocked. He was grateful, but just saying thanks in person was just a casual remark. 

But now, she wanted him to meet her parents. 

How could he handle that? Showing up with his identity would only bring humiliation upon himself.

Oh right, maybe Keko was feeling worried and embarrassed to ask him before?

"What do you think, should I go meet them?" Li Weijie asked hesitantly.
