I didn't say anything as my wife told us the story of why she chose to annihilate the entire red lily bandit without arresting anyone alive.
I look at Arida in between, and she seems to remember the same thing as what Kassandra remembers.
"You take the law into your own hands without considering this kingdom's rules and law process, General Escalante. Are you aware of that?" my dad asks.
She didn't raise her head. "I'm well aware of that, your majesty. I can take the punishment that is equivalent to my decision. It's me who should bear the consequences," she replied.
I looked at my parents, and they saw how serious Kassandra was. My dad looks at my wife intently.
"Tell us, why should we punish you, General Escalante?"
