Kassandra's POV
Prince Arnold laughs because of what I said. Lady Lucille turned red.
"You must have learned your lesson, honey. You shouldn't tease a devil general. You won't win," he stated.
"Noted," Lady Lucille says. I laughed and smiled.
I unhooked my necklace and took off my engagement and wedding rings. Kalix held my left palm.
I smile when he's putting them back in my finger. I raise her palm and look at the rings.
"Finally! My palm feels empty ever since the day that I'm not wearing my wedding band," I mumbled.
They all cough. We look at our family. "We will leave you guys for a while. You both needed privacy," Mom says.
We let them leave. Kalix moves closer and embraces me tightly. We didn't say a word and just felt each other's warmth.
"I'm glad we made it on time, or else that jerk would've taken your eyes and…" I halt.
