Kassandra's POV
I love teasing Prince Kalix. He always jumps off and hides his true feelings cutely. He leans his forehead on me.
"Rest first, silly," he mumbles.
That made me chuckle softly. I put on my clothes. I was surprised that he got a long sleeve instead of a dress. I guess he knew that I was still struggling to wear them.
We heard a knock. "That must be our lunch. Stay here and wait," he says.
I nodded and watched as he opened the door. I'm glad we made up and didn't continue our silent struggles. I guess I'm getting used to this. He came back holding two trays in his hands.
I smiled when I saw the food. "You really love to eat, aren't you?" he says. I nodded several times and smiled.
"I am! Food gives us energy, your majesty. We need it so we can win on the battlefield," I stated.
