Kassandra's POV
I am not that dense, but I think Earl Argus's actions were leading to a different path. He does not care because we're friends.
Actually, he wants more than that. He's already left, but I'm still dumbfounded. I heard several claps behind me. I thought it was the queen, but she's not.
That smirk on her smug face irritates me. I'm already in a bad mood. I sighed silently. I mustn't forget that she's the second princess of this nation and, most of all, my sister-in-law.
"Feeling happy? Feeling special?" she mocks.
The third and sixth princes weren't around anymore. I guess they went back to their offices. I shrug my shoulders and look straight into her eyes. I won't be afraid of Princess Candice.
"Is there anything that you want to discuss, Princess? I never thought you'd speak with me first," I replied, smiling.
