Kalix Noah's POV
I was waiting for my wife to come down. Axel summoned me to his room to check my wounds.
I'm glad they healed outside, but he told me not to push myself too much because my tissues are still recovering from the cuts and stabs that I received.
Good thing that when we're in the borderland, Allan didn't continue his plans of starting a battle.
I heard the sound of her heels. I stood up and looked upstairs. My eyes dilated when I saw her wearing the maternity dress that Mother sent to us. \
She's beautiful in that dark blue maternity dress. "I'm ready, Noah. Let's go?" she suggests.
I look at her from head to toe. The skirt was floral, and there was no tight design on the waist to highlight her body. She gives me weird glances.
"Do I look weird in your mother's maternity dress?" Kassandra inquired.
I shook my head and gave her a smile. "No. You look beautiful. I swear," I respond.
