Chapter 15: A Dragon's Heart to Heart Talk

"Amelia, I understand that Lily's question caught us both off guard," Ethan replied, taking Amelia's hand. "It's something we need to talk about, but I want you to know that being in Lily's life is something I genuinely want."

Amelia looked at him, her eyes softening with affection. "Ethan, you've already been such a positive presence in her life, and I can see how much she cares about you. But becoming her papa is a big step, and it's not a decision we should make lightly."

He nodded in agreement. "You're right, and I don't want to rush into anything. I want you to know that I care about both of you deeply. I want to be there for you both, no matter what."

Amelia smiled, her heart warmed by his sincerity. "Thank you, Ethan. That means a lot to me. Lily is my priority, and I want our decisions to be in her best interest."

Ethan leaned closer, resting his forehead against hers. "I couldn't agree more. I care about you both and want to be a part of your lives in any way you let me."
