Unexpected
Andy sat behind his desk with his gaze fixed on the desktop before him; deeply immersed in what he was doing when a ring from his phone interrupted. Intuitively, he reached for it with his eyes still glued to the screen with deep concentration. Without checking the caller, he picked up as he sent the phone to his ear– supporting it with one hand while he continued with what he was doing.
"Hello." He called the moment the phone reached his ear. "Are you busy?" A familiar voice rasped his ear from the other side of the phone which made him deftly glance at the screen as he retrieved it~ just to be sure. His brows creased while he took notice of the name– justifying his earlier inclusion.
"Hey, pumpkin. " Andy affirmed, relaxing his back against his seat. "This's new– is everything okay with you?" He asked; surprised and puzzled at the same time. But then, Kalisa was more anxious to lay down her request than explaining herself.
