She had been working on her design for hours, but something seemed wrong with her computer as it froze in the middle of her dry run.
"You can't do this to me now." She tapped the Shift, Caps lock, Enter, and Esc buttons, hoping it would unfreeze the screen. But nothing happened.
She stared at the white screen with letters, numbers, and colors, but nothing moved. She was panicking because her presentation was early the next day.
"What is wrong?" Jenny, her next cubicle neighbor, snooped over the divider that separated their workstation. "Do you need any help?"
She truly appreciated her for all her help since she worked at this firm. She had been a friend when she knew no one in the company.
"My computer isn't working." She answered her new friend with a frustrated frown. "Would you, by any chance, know anything about computers?"
