The clue to God's existence! Now let's go look for that magic!

In a position around the sky, a warm view of numerous small and large buildings that are divided to areas that are bounded into squares by mini roads, will be seen. In each square areas, residential buildings are built. And with certain spaces, commercial buildings are positioned for the residents to look, check, and buy for different items that is essential for their daily needs.

After 5 days, the town has finally recovered from its damages that it received from that monster. It was just a passive blow from that monster's numerous attack to be honest.

In a quite road where you can see people relaxing and having their usual activities, you will have a glance of a gray colored apartment. On it's roof, you can see a beautiful person, which is Sei, hanging newly washed clothes in a clothesline. It is really a beautiful scenery looking at her doing housework, while her elegant figure is exposed to sunlight. Yeah, the warm sunlight really calms the whole place.

As for me, i am here in the terrace enjoying the view of our very own constructed lake. In every town, there is a lake specially constructed only for its own. It is a necessity for the kingdom because it is far from the body of water.

I am focusing my eyes on the lights that are sparkling in the lake's surface for it is really so refreshing. Added by the breeze that comes from it,

Aaah... I hope you feel what i mean

It's just, i am experiencing now a very serious and terrible dillema.

After helping the town recovers, i have been planning to begin my journey and look for this magic thing and make my self more stronger.

However...

- Sei pops up in my mind -

What will happen to her? I just fortify to myself that i will not let her feel traces of loneliness anymore, let alone leaving her in this town. But how will i make myself become more stronger?

Anyway i have to talk with her about this.

I then go to the roof

- Sei is already done with the laundry and now resting on the roof and relaxing in the shed. -

I sit and then talk to her.

"Uhm..."

By the way, the view is really good and the wind is really refreshing making it very pleasing to breathe. I then take my time for a moment.

I continue

"How are you feeling Sei?"

"Hmm? Well, this area is really a good spot to relax."

"Yeah, right... By the way, why don't you go visit to your friends or relatives? You should enjoy yourself more. Now that the dungeon is closed, you can join them for other jobs just like gathering power stones and other rewardable stuff."

"Huh? I thought i am the one that will take care all of the houseworks? Well, it's just fine for me though."

Eh? Don't tell me she had thought i am asking her to do job?

"Ahh... No no no, what i mean is, we don't know, someday, i might go in a journey. I will never let you live here alone. You should at least look for your friends to live with before that."

She frowned then said

"Are you going somewhere? I can't bother other people in their works. And one more thing, are you going somewhere without taking me with you?"

She looks at me in a worried and sad expression.

I felt sorry

"Huh? Ah, no... It's... But wait, are you saying you won't bother your friends and you are here staying at my place?"

She might seriously take what i said, so her eyes sparkled saying...

"Huh?"

Her pitiful reaction makes me panic... Aaargh.. What am i doing? Am i a fool or what? She's obviously feeling sad here instead...

"Ah! no no no no"

I immediately cheer her up

"Of course you are not bothering anyone ahahaha!"

"Say, why are you not taking me on your journey? Where are you even going by the way? Also, when are you going?"

She asked unconvinced of my reason.

Uhm... "Sigh" ...

Here...

I hand over the invitation envelope to her and uttered

"I am going to look for that magic to protect the kingdom from any danger. It says it has additional power to the person. I wonder how does that work though."

After reading, she looks at me with a worried face...

"Are you going to believe this? What if this is not real? I know that there are this strong dungeon monsters but you can't just desperately seek for power by accepting strange offers. Moreover, if another strong monster come to cause destruction, and no one could ever give it a fight, isn't all going to be futile? "

" That is why i am going; to be able to fight whatever kind of monsters it is. " - I replied -

" You are losing the point. You can be powerful and all, but what if you are not around and the town gets attacked? Isn't it futile if everyone gets killed and is already dead? "

Sei insist her idea

" It's impossible. There are still a lot of strong fighters that is left in the kingdom isn't there? I will use that chance to train or whatever. It's just that one thing is certain, i will do everything to become a capable protector of peace!"

I stuck firmly to my goal

"protector of peace?... You said?... Tsk, Well, yes, there are still many strong fighters here, but the point is, what if they can't compete with the attacker?"

" Well, they can!"

" Yeah sure they can, but if they can't?! "

- I have been speechless -

Sei continues...

" But, You had defeated the monster and come back unscathed. Is there still things we should get concerned of? "

" Unsc... What?". - i reacted pretty ashamed of myself -

Oh, right! She still didn't know the truth about the monster's death.

" Sei... didn't you know that i am not the one that slayed that creature? "

" Hmm? "

Her reaction is full of curiousness. Her expression look likes she expects i am joking and waiting for me to say so.

"If that is how the battle goes, then there should not be a damage this great."

I muttered

Well, it is very much to be expected. I am currently one of the strongest in this kingdom and the others are not that far from me.

- People might wonder why those strongest personnel didn't appear in the battle. But they really would not. Remember the kingdom values its people, so it will not be less treatment for the king. For the king is the most important of the whole area that is ranged by the monster's ruthless onslaught. Yes! Those people are watching and constructing strategy in the meantime -

Sei then ask

"Are you being serious? Then who?"

"I don't know, it's probably a guy from an unknown kingdom. Anyway, i will continue my search for this magic."

"Wait, why? What happened to you then?"

"Huh?"

"Sigh..." I let out a breath and explain to her

After my explanation, she realises how far the difference between the world and those mysterious people.

She then ask...

"How come they are very powerful?"

I then answer

"Didn't you heard a loud voice from the sky?"

Sei shook her head

"Have you no god or what? Is what he said"

Well, the moment he said that is the very moment your family was eaten. No doubt you will heard nothing from around you.

- I think to myself -

"Wait, i heard that..." Sei muttered

I keep looking at her as she continue

"No... It's not a clear voice, could it be that it talk only on the mind? I didn't sense any presence nearby but it sounds like it was only on my side. I even think that it is only me talking to myself, but if you also heard it..."

Yeah, that is how powerful they are. I really wanted to know the truth. And it will only gets unfold when i finally meet those who invited me in.

I then reply to Sei for her to understand why i crave for this magic thing so much.

"The voice is directed to the person, not to the mind. Its just a simple act of talking but it reaches the whole kingdom. It is a clear superior display of power, because it can led it's voice to whomever they wanted to without delay."

- Sei is listening attentively -

I then continue...

Those people didn't own their powers. It is from GOD that we have been looking for.

I then look to Sei and ask

Does it not makes you feel like rejoicing to know that finally there is a clue that the highest authority really exist?

She smiles with sparkling eyes. She is extremely happy that seeing it makes me really feel glad about knowing God.

"I see... Then it's settled, you will stay and wait for my return while i am unfolding this mystery."

- I uttered -

No! I'll go with you! Please let me accompany you! I also wanted to look for God!

Sei insist to go with me which i approve at the end.

I wanted to tell her it can be a dangerous journey but i think leaving her will be more dangerous.

We are now relaxing in a shed on our apartment's roof enjoying the view of the glittering lake's surface, Inhaling the fresh cool air as it pushes the hanged clothes, and once again, happily talking about the existence of this unknown being...

GOD that is!
