The Choice

Paige P.O.V.

It was a strange room that I had never seen before. The dark walls were covered with mysterious symbols. When I focused on one the symbols, it said Οι Εκλεκτοί. I didn't know what it meant. When turning around, I saw someone, but just as quickly they were gone. Everything started to blur and fade, and I had jumped out of bed in a cold sweat. I looked at my alarm to see it was only 3 in the morning. I went to take a nice hot shower; and as the hot water hit my back, I felt all of my worries just disappear. After being in the shower for 15 minutes, I got out and dressed myself in a light blue pair of pants, a purple shirt, and black high-heels. At 3:20 am, I laid back in bed and stared at the ceiling. While I was laying on my bed, I thought about what I'd dreamt. I didn't know what it meant. Like, what did "Οι Εκλεκτοί" mean? And who was the strange male I had seen? Around 5:45 am, I got ready for school. I had eggs and bacon for breakfast with a cup of coffee. By the time I was done eating and washing my dishes, it was time to walk out the door for school. As I was making my toward school, someone jumped on my back, scaring me half to death. I threw the person over my shoulder and onto the concrete. The person grunted and said,

"Ow! Remind me never to do that again, and help me up." Madi put her hand up to get help. I reached for her hand and pulled her up off the ground.

"OMG, I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you," I said as I pat off the dirt on Madi's back.

"It's fine. I'm the one who scared you" she said as she fixed her black hoodie and purple ripped jeans. Madi leaned over, grabbing her black hat and placing it over her head. She turned to face me, giving me a smile.

"Oh, okay good," I said as I turned to continue walking toward the school, but then someone said,

"Hey, good moves especially in heels," said a dude with his group of friends as they continue toward them.

Madi's P.O.V.

"Listen here princess, she's a better fighter than you'll ever be, so back off!" I said As I took a step toward the group of friends, the scent of a wolf in front of me. But who was it?

"Oh really, did she want to test that because I highly doubt that," said the boy with Black hair. Looking at me with a smirk, he crossed his arms and stood up straight, trying to look tough.

"Excuse me!" Paige stepped in between us, "do I get a say in all of this?!"

"Of course sweetheart, you should since you're gonna lose." Said the black-haired boy with an evil smirk as his friends snicker and 'oooooo'.

My bloOd started to boil as my anger rose. I clenched my hands into fists so hard, that my fingernails pierced through my skin. Blood started to drip as the scent of iron filled the air. I hurried my hands into my hoodie's pockets to avoid anyone seeing.

Black Hair Boy P.O.V.

I sniffed the air and the scent of bloOd hit my nose. I scrunched my nose due to the smell. Paige gave him a glare, as I side-glance towards Madi. I looked toward Paige once again, and said, "Are we gonna fight or not?"

"Yeah, I would love to kick your ass," said Paige as she takes a few steps back to get into a fighting technique' Paige used a Dragon Style pose

I put my hands up into fists to fight, but first said, "Did you want to take off your high-heels?"

"No" Paige paused for a second then said, "That makes it too easy for me" before smiling at the me.

I looked at her and said, "lady's first"

"What a gentleman," said Paige as she swung her hand at my face before changing her move at the last minute to make it a leg trip.
