"Oh wow! You look stunning."

Miss Sakura gives me a thumbs up as Meisa looks at my dress. I wore a yellow mermaid style dress and black heels.

"Wow! And that hairstyle suits you."

"I didn't think I'd like bangs." I said touching my new bangs. Miss Sakura was the one that suggested them but I was hesitant at first.

"Nick will faint when he sees you." Teased Mesia. I don't think so.

"I doubt that...but thank you." I laugh awkwardly.

"Come dear...Nick said he's here, he already changed at the office."

Hearing his voice my smile dropped. Nick and I kind of argued in the morning and I wonder if he is still upset with me. I sure as hell still feel a little bit angry.

"Okay." I kept thinking of why I had to act like a jealous wife. This fight could have been avoided if I hadn't acted so crazy but these days my emotions are all over the place.

Nick stood with his grandfather talking about something when Meisa and I entered the living area. Nick had his hair cut shorter and slicked it back.

He looked so handsome that I had to swallow some spit. He turns to me smiling at me to my surprise. I smile back at him feeling instantly better.

"Wow...you look beautiful." He takes my hand giving me a spin. I shyly look away as I felt my cheeks burn up.

"You do look lovely." Mr Sakurada said shocking me. He was the last person I expected to get a compliment from.

"T-thank you so much."

"Kento...remember the both of you are going representing this family. Nothing should go wrong!"

"I know grandfather." He looks down shoving his hands in his pockets. I doubt Nick enjoyed being spoken to like a child.

"Go on then."

"Let's go Sammy, Excuse us grandfather." I nod following Nick outside.

We walked side by side in silence till we got to the car,I bet Nick was upset now. I got in immediately moving away from Nick as the driver started the engine.

" This event is being held by an old friend of mine. She is raising money for families of children that have disabilities." Nick began smiling as he spoke. "I've donated 15 million so far but this year you can decide how much we'll give."

"It's your money."

"It's our money. You're my wife." He corrected.

"20 million?"

"That's what I was thinking too."

I don't know why I'm so annoyed with Nick. What right to I have to feel like this? We have rules after all. He can date anyone.

I kept that in mind as we reached the glamours event. There were people from the press, celebrities and bodygaurds everywhere.

Our door was opened by a large guy who seemed like he didn't know how to smile.

"This will be the first time I'll introduce you to the public as my wife...are you ready?" He asked as I held his arm.

"I feel scared...There's so many people here Nick."

"Don't worry my love. I'm here." He winks at me.

"Nick...people are looking at us." I quickly look down feeling overwhelming anxiety. Did I look weird or maybe my dress wasn't as Pretty as I thought it was.

"You look stunnung. That's why they are looking at you." He whispers in my ear.

I look at him caught offgaurd. "Nick."

"I'm telling you the truth." He said as a reporter approached us. Sighing I forced a smile on my face as the lady asked Nick a few questions. I didn't understand a word but kept smiling like an idiot.

I hear him mention my name and the reporter gives me a brief smile. She finally leaves letting breath.

"Nick...what did you say about me?"

"I said you're my true love and that we are married, I also said we would start making a family soon." Nick nonchalantly says unaware his words make my heart race.

Inside the event it's what I imagined I'd be like. There were beautiful flowers white flowers everywhere and everything looked magical.

People greeted us(well mostly Nick) he would gesture towards me and say something. I smiled realizing he probably kept telling them I am his wife.

"Sammy. Do you want wine?" He asked when we were alone.

"No. Juice for tonight please." I don't want to risk getting drunk at a place like this.

"Okay I'll go find some. Stay right here okay?"

"Okay."

Nick walks into the crowd of people and soon I lose sight of my handsome fake husband.

"Isn't this party lovely?" A soft female voice said to me. I turn to see a gorgeous woman with short brown hair. She was wearing a white dress that flowed to the floor.

"Hi. My name is Sana Akanishi." She extends her hand to me. Her name sounds familiar but I have no idea where I've heard it before.

I shake her hand about to say my name but she says my name first with a smile. "Samantha Houston."

"How did you know?"

"Nick mentioned you to me...aren't you his wife?"

"I am."

The look on her face told me she didn't particularly like what I just said. I wonder who she is.

"I am actually his ex fiancè." She says as if reading my mind. Nick is probably still seeing her...

"Oh." Is all I managed to get out. This whole situation is beyond uncomfortable.

She laughs. "Please don't make that face. I come in peace. This is actually my event...I just thought I should come say hi since you looked so lost here on your own."

"Well...thank you."

"Don't mention it. Nick is still a good friend of mine, we can't stay apart for long."

I can't believe this woman. She is trying to show me that she's still important to Nick to get a reaction out of me.

"I'm glad Nick has such a caring friend." I fake a smile once I see Nick coming from the corner of my eye.

Sana turns to Nick. "Finally you're here, I am so thirsty." She takes the glass of juice I'm pretty sure was meant for me and takes a sip.

"Sana! You just drank Sammy's juice." Nick said pretending to be angry with her.

She pouts, "Im sorry. I just saw you and assumed it was mine...

Old habits die hard you know."

Yeah but people die easily.

"It's fine. I'll go find myself a drink while you two catch up."

"No need...we saw each other lastnight." Sana gives me a victorious grin.

Nick quickly says, "Sana go give your other guests attention...they might get upset."

"You're right. Well excuse me Samantha. It was really nice meeting you." It wasn't nice meeting you!

"Same here dear." I grab the glass of wine from Nick gulping it down. Tonight will be a long night!
