United We Fight Even If The World Falls

It all started from a misunderstanding. It culminated in the form of a mysterious message received in the far future. Rhyme Rivetta, Secretary of State for the World Government, took this message seriously. Unfortunately, she was the only one, and one person alone could not hope to stop an extraterrestrial invasion.

Prologue

War. History has shown us that there is a variety of reasons that may cause a war. Some were revolutionary, changing the world they then knew. Others... such as the war we are currently in, falls under the category of misunderstanding, and pettiness. Nevertheless, whatever started it, a war has always brought destruction in its wake.

Villages once prosperous with lush greenery were burned down to ashes and ravaged to the ground. Bustling cities, housing concrete jungles and metallic machineries, all fell into desolation. The blood of humans was inevitably shed, in spite of the pitiful tears, dreadful screams, and futile pleas. However, unlike history, humans are not warring among themselves this time.

The world is rapidly changing, and so are people. This is a story of how those people, those that survived the ongoing onslaught, attempt to cope with what they have lost. This is a story of how those people struggle to find the way to fight back against an army unbeknownst to man.

History has shown us that wars end in a variety of ways. Diplomacy is no longer an option. There is nowhere to flee, as they've been cornered in their own planet. They can only hope that they can find a way to fight back, and there are only two possibilities that may come out of it. Victory, or death.

Nice to meet you all. (I'm new, what do you usually put here?) Thanks for reading the prologue, this is a story that I've been meaning to write for a long time, and I do hope you can enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it.

Do please share your thoughts on this little "teaser" to the story. Until next chapter!
