previously in unexpected travel:

after some more persuasion by the two mothers, hope agreed and as hope and Janet were going, Nathan was watching them with a smile. but suddenly his smile froze, he slowly had a thunderous realization.

he quickly called Alfred in his mind 'hey old man where are you quickly come to my room i have to ask you something really important

answer said that he kept on starting at the door, where hope and her mother went out with pale expressions and panicked looks.

As Nathan was having a painful realization Samantha took Janet and hope to send them off, and she was about to pick up Nathan so that he could say bye to them, but as Nitin wanted to talk about something important to Alfred he started crying and trashing.

Seeing his weird behavior Samantha quickly asked: "what happened baby, don't you want to say bye to hope, don't worry baby, she will also come tomorrow to play with you, right hope you will come tomorrow right?"

as she said that hope quickly nodded her head and said, "of course, I will come to play with Nathan." she said it in a cute way, Samantha and Janet both smiled and Samantha said, "don't cry baby she will be here don't cry."

As Nathan was acting he was thinking inside 'oh common please leave me alone, I have to talk about something important with Alfred' as then was wearing Alfred quickly came into the room and said "madam please don't worry why don't you send madam Janet and miss hope to the car I will take care of your Nathan." he said it with a small bow.

Samantha just sighed and gave Nathan to Alfred and said "take care of him Alfred and if there is any problem, please inform me immediately."

Alfred nodded and said with a small bow "yes madam don't worry I Will take care of everything."

As everyone went out Alfred quickly turned to Nathan with a frown and asked "what happened Nathan why were you behaving in such a way, you called me to talk to you. I said only to use the connection when you are in a dangerous situation, but I don't see any of that here." said Alfred with a raised eyebrow.

Nathan was thinking hard and finally asked "when does hope's mother gets trapped in the quantum realm?" as he asked Alfred quickly understood what was Nathan thinking and answered, "well according to me it will happen in one year give or take few months, so this is why you called me, right?"

Asked Alfred as Nathan nodded. then Nathan suddenly asked "can we save her?" he said with a hopeful eyes, but to his disappointment, Alfred said, "if you were powerful enough I would not able to stop you but, only for me to interfere it is a problem because for everything I use void energy and for normal things it is not a problem but to change the timelines it courses problems and even that is not a big issue." Alfred just sighed and continued.

"the main problem is to change the timelines I use a lot of void energy and it may destroy this universe doing this from outside is as easy as snapping my finger, but doing it from inside a universe is really dangerous to its inhabitants,

and also the main reason is I don't want to interfere too much."

Nathan who listened to Alfred got angry and said: "you don't want to help hope because you don't want to interfere, but you helped me right? and what is the difference if you change small things?" Nathan said with an angry look.

Alfred just sighed and said "Nathan I have come to the realization that I can't save everyone, at the start of my life I protected many universes, galaxies, and civilizations. but not only the civilization didn't improve they collapsed on themselves. from then on I stopped interfering with the Omniverse, I Only interfered when the whole Omniverse is in danger. The only reason I am doing this much is because of you young man I want to make sure you not only grow stronger but also have a strong will to choose what will do in your life." as he said that with a serious face his voice became soft at the end.

Nathan was really helpless in this situation, he wanted to save his friend from all the pain she has to go through. but he can't interfere with the timelines.

he felt weak and powerless at the moment and thought to himself 'this is the main reason i wanted to get strong even tho I know what s going to happen I can't do anything to save the people I love. I Will do my best to get stronger even if I have to fight this old man for it.' as Nathan was having so much trouble Alfred felt a bit sad for him he really wanted to help him but some things he only has to learn on his Owen' he hugged Nathan who hugged him tightly.

then Alfred said "don't worry Nathan everything will be ok and I will make sure when hope's mother goes into the quantum realm I will try my best to time dilate her location so she doesn't have to spend so long in the quantum realm and make sure that hope stays with us rather than going to the boarding school," he said it while he carried Nathan.

Nathan who was crying a bit nodded and the old man slowly pressed his finger on the back of his head, a small golden ripple came and slowly Nathan fell asleep, Alfred pleased Nathan on the bed and covered him in a blanket, and said "there are going to be many tragedies in your life young man I can't guarantee I will help you in them but, I will always be there for you." he then slowly went out of the room while closing the door slowly.

the next morning Nathan was having a hard time waking up from his sleep slowly he woke up and looked around himself, but he didn't find anyone around him.

he just sat up and was thinking about what should he do in the future and the only reason he didn't push the old man more was because he knew that Janet will survive and the old man said he will make sure that she is safe there.

Nathan was also thinking that he should get as strong as possible to help Janet get out of the quantum realm.

but as a little kid with low power, he can't do anything and he can also tell that Alfred was not helping him wantedly.

Nathan was not a stupid guy he also knows he has to learn more If he wants to be more strong and also go through many hardships to achieve his goal and have to plow through them.

Nathan hated it, being unable to do anything to protect the people he cared about and because of his age he can't do much at the moment.

As Nathan was feeling down and was thinking about how he can grow stronger, he felt something move in him and suddenly he saw the world around him turn black, as his vision was fading he saw Alfred teleport near him with a shocked face, but before Nathan can ask Alfred he fainted.

As Nathan fell unconscious on his bed Alfred came near him and used his void energy and slowly sent it into Nathan, doing this was really dangerous because the void energy inside Nathan can react wildly and explode this universe, but as Alfred has good mastery over void energy and control on his own energy he was able to do it but it was only possible because Nathan was unconscious, even small resistance can be disastrous.

As Alfred was trying to find out if his assumption was right Nathan was just floating in a similar place just like the void.

Slowly Nathan's eyelashes started to flutter slowly he opened his eyes but it took him a few minutes to adjust because the void is filled with darkness but it wasn't that hard for him because he was trapped in the void for so long it wasn't bad.

'why does this place feels familiar to me, I don't think this is the same void because this place seems like I know it as he was deep in his thoughts he felt himself move but wasn't able to tell clearly because this place doesn't have any light.

slowly Nathan saw a small little spec of light, it was slowly growing bigger and bigger by the second and within few moments he was close to it it was like a giant sun but rather than it being red it was white and gold and it was also slowly growing in its size, but the growth was small.

when Nathan was looking around he saw a simple black chain slowly revolving around the gold and white ball and suddenly the black chain transformed into the larger and more beefier chain and enveloped the golden ball and started to restrict its growth as Nathan was thinking about the chain. he felt some kind of suction pulling him and he vanished.

As he vanished the chains which were restricting the golden ball slowly shank in size, to its previous size which looked like a normal black chain. it was again slowly rotating around the golden orb.

back home Nathan slowly opened his eyes and as he opened his eyes he saw the old man, who had a worried look but as he saw Nathan wake up he was relieved.
