As Nathan pried his eyes from where the maid Elizabeth went, he saw his mother who has black hair which reaches to her neck with light blue eyes, he can tell she is a natural beauty and that she didn't wear any makeup on her face. nathan quickly turned to his father who had light brown hair and was handsome but compared to his mother he was pretty dull.

as Nathan was observing his father john felt something pierce his heart when he saw how hos son was looking at him and his wife like he is comparing us he thought.

and Samantha started to introduce Nathan to the starks she said " well Howard this is my son Nathan Sullivan park" she said with a big smile Nathan was not really surprised he has his previous name with him because he just spoke with the old man so it isn't a big surprise.

Then Howard picked him up and said "oh, look at this smart young man he has your eyes Samantha, and your hair too. well we know he got all the good looks from and i am glad there are from you," said Edward with a grin as he was looking at John.

John who heard it and said with a twitching smile "well he got the looks from his beautiful mother, but he got his brains from his smart father" said John proudly but also noticed that Howard was laughing while looking at him and his wife, so he quickly turned to her. she had a sweet smile on her face and she said without dropping the smile "oh! dear, I didn't know you thought yourself as smartest and do you mean I am the dumb one, tell me, dear? I am asking you something?"

Nathan was also holding his laughter as he knew that Howard knew how to trap John correctly and Maria who was carrying Nathan saw him shook her head and said "don't worry Nathan your father will be alive." as she said this, she turned to the couple to confirm her assumption and said "yeah don't worry"

And after everyone settled down, John and Howard were talking about the business, and Samantha and Maria were talking to each other and nathan was getting bored, Alfred slowly came and said "sir and Madam if you don't mind I will take young master to the room, he is still young to be around loud noises" as he said it Samantha who was a bit drunk quickly came out of her stupor and realised how bad of a mother she was being as she was about to get up Alfred intervened.

Alfred smiled as he said "madam please take some rest and have some fun and relax a bit you have been working really hard nowadays," Alfred said it so that Samantha can be freer without worrying about taking care of young Nathan.

Samantha also understand what Alfred was saying and shot him a grateful smile and went near Nathan and gave him a tight hug and said " Nathan don't worry mommy will be with you after some time and don't trouble uncle Alfred and mommy loves you. she said it while hugging him and gave him a big kiss on his cheek and turned to Alfred and said "why don't you take him around the house to keep him occupied till he sleeps Alfred" she asked Alfred.

Alfred smiled and said, "don't worry madam I will take care of Young master and make sure he has a fun time". As he said it, he bowed to the park and stark family and picked up. nathan up and went to the garden to give him some fresh air.

As Alfred took Nathan away the parks and stark families started to talk to each other again.

then Samantha asked Maria "Maria where is Rony it has been a long time since I saw him, why didn't you bring him."

Maria smiled warily and looked at Howard who acted like he didn't know anything and said " well I would have bought him, but Howard grounded him for 2 weeks in the house"

then John frowned and said "why ground him Howard you know he must have felt lonely over there alone he could have had some good time here and you also know now that you are doing the 'special project' you will have less time to spend it with him," said John with a serious look.

howard sighed and said "I know John it also pains me to punish him but he always talks back and I even caught him drinking some wine from my bottle, what If he does something stupid" he drank some wine and continued "that's why I want to be a bit strict with him so that he can be a better person".

John just looked at Howard and said "I understand you Howard but being too harsh on him will also push you away from him, and he even may hate you. so rather than punish him talk to him, it will not be an easy task but you are a smart man so do it"

howard nodded and said with a smile " I can't guarantee but I will try my best to be more involved with him and spend some time with him" as Howard said it he downed the wine in his glass with a quick swing.

Maria gave John a thank you look and John smiled and turned to Samantha who held his hand and squeezed it softly and said " you were great how you handled that situation dear, I think I should let you handle me, what do you think?" she whispered into John's ears. He was really happy and thought 'man if I knew she likes it when I am all serious I would have had a dozen kids already' on the outside he just laughed and was thanking his lucky stars, for such a great opportunity.

Howard who saw acting like a young couple quickly turned to Maria with a grin on his face, she just said "don't even think about it" and turned around and took a sip from her glass,

but what Howard didn't see was she was blushing but didn't want to behave like a new couple in front of everyone, Howard just pouted and turned towards John with a blank face and Samantha saw Maria blushing and kept staring at her with a smile and when Maria saw her face became redder and Samantha smirked and laughed at her friend's misfortune.

As this was happening John came a bit close to Howard and asked him to come to a more private area and let him towards the balcony,

then John said to Samantha "sweetie I have something I need to talk with Howard, please excuse us" he said it and quickly stood up and

looked at Howard who also gave an explanation "Ah, yes ladies please excuse us, for leaving too early" with an exaggerated bow.

Samantha and Maria just laughed and started talking about some gossip they heard from their other friends.

As Howard and John reached the corner of the balcony John checked his surroundings and asked "Howard what is the project progress, I don't want to know too much but how long will it take" asked, John.

john was talking about the super soldier project which Howard has taken over after the death of Dr. Abhram Erskine's death, Howard was doing his best to recreate it but there only have been failures till now.

howard took a deep breath and said "well we had no luck with it I have put a lot of effort into it but it is still not up to what Steve took"

As he mentioned Steve he felt sad for his friend who sacrificed himself for them, a hand was pressed into Howard's shoulder he quickly came out of his thoughts, he found John consoling him. he smiled and gave him a hug, he didn't want to trouble his friend with his discoveries and he knew that if he knows anything more he may be targeted by someone, 'it is better for him to not know this, I am already putting maria and tony's in danger.'

As that was happening, three people a male, a female, and a small girl approached Samantha and Maria. Samantha saw them and smiled and said "oh Janet how good to see you, how have you been?"

As she asked it Janet replied "well you know busy with housework and work" and she turned to Maria and also gave her a hug. Pym just smiled and gave a small greeting to them.

and left from there.

Janet seeing this gave an apologetic smile, but they didn't mind it because they knew Howard and Pym can't stand each other. so it was better this way.

then Samantha saw little hope, standing behind her mother was a little girl she smiled to her and said "oh! you must be hope it has been a long time since we met do you remember me you used to call me aunt Sammy"

hope just looked at her mother who said it was ok, like that there was a decision made that she will have few play dates with Nathan, these were really helpful for Nathan in the future,

but later about that.

As all this was happening Nathan was in the hands of Alfred and was acting like he was asleep as Alfred was standing in the garden he suddenly started to talk and said "young master how was your day"

but there was no moment from Nathan then Alfred's smile turned into a grin and said "young man is this how you behave with your elders"

As soon as he said it, Nathan's eyes quickly shot open and he stared at Alfred.
