One last scream

Charm was surprised that eight of them managed to stay holed up in the small storage comfortably for so long.

Granted they had access to food plus cases of water so it wasn't exactly a bad deal. 

None of them had any form of personal items or cellphones on them because they are required to store those items in lockers rooms before entering the kitchen.

Makes sense, since they handle food for so many, it would be in keeping hygiene and sanitary practices, still hopefully the demons had not infected the food with demon larvae. 

They kept running; they were almost nearing the ground floor now.

Charm couldn't wait to touch the grass since they were almost outside. 

She wanted to feel the sun on her skin and breathe in fresh air and embrace everything she took for granted.

Sounds of footsteps were back again.

The sounds had followed Charm to a new food source.
