Cruel Intentions

Why didn't the demon just let her fall?

Or did it have cruel intentions in mind to torture her after retrieving the blue orb from her.

Charm fought and struggled against their encircled arms around her body.

She flung her head back and caused herself and whatever held her a great deal of pain.

Not to be outdone she used the heel of her hiking boots to crush their little toe.

"Ouch! What the hell Charm," groaned Genesis.

His hold loosened and Charm sagged against his chest as her body went limp with relief. 

After taking a few minutes to recover Charm spun around to confront her rescuer. 

"Would it kill you to act a little more grateful towards me," said Genesis. 

He sunk to the ground to take off his right boot then his sock.

Just to check on his little toe to see if it was broken.
