Un-Solo Leveling

This is my new fan-fiction work. A story of someone who gets a chance to reincarnate into the world of Solo Leveling. It's an alternate universe where Jin Woo's decision to reverse the time ended up badly for the Earth's future so he needs to fix it, but he needs someone's help. A young man's soul is chosen to help him save the Earth by going to the past. The young man receives the power to grow stronger in the world where Awakeners can't get stronger after their awakening, just like Sung Jin Woo, but not really the same. With his power, he is determined to keep getting stronger and protect the Earth. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I have uploaded up to +30 chapters in my Patreon page. 9. 2nd Raid

With the problem of hiding his power temporarily solved, Indra finally can continue hunting monsters in dungeons. There are 6 Gates found in his region and he has checked 3 that are close to his home.

2 of them are E-Rank and the other 1 is D-Rank. He hasn't found any dungeons with higher ranks than D since the first appearance of Gates. In the last few days, he has gone around the town to look at the discovered Gates, but all of them are E or D-Ranks.

Also, almost all Dungeon Raids in the news are successful even though there's no device to measure Gates' & Hunters' magic power. So Indra assumes that all the Dungeons are still low levels, that's why the success rates are high.

He assumes that the dungeons all over the world are at most D-Rank by now and the difficulty will rise slowly. The Rulers must've tried to make people adapt by sending low-level monsters first. It's like the tutorial stage now and the real trial starts when high-rank Gates appear.

'Hmm, do they make it like that to make sure there will be a lot more hunters, especially the high-ranks when higher rank Gates appear? After all, the Awakening happens because of the magic power spreading out of the Gates. Right now the number of Awakeners is still very low and the number of high-ranking Hunters is obviously even much lower. So if they release higher-ranking Gates too fast, then they will only reduce the number of humans that can awaken because the low number of Hunters can't clear the high-rank Dungeons yet. We are also still adapting to everything that happens, so this is the correct approach.'

Even after doing that, humanity will still lose a lot of powerful Hunters when the first S-Rank Gate appears. Over 100 S-Rank Hunters will die when facing Kamish the Dragon. Many civilians will also die and among them, there must be people with the potential to be high-rank Hunters.

There will be a lot more danger in the future, so Indra needs to make sure he participates in the Kamish raid. At the very least, he needs to reduce the number of civilian casualties. But his goal is to save as many S-Rank hunters and avoid civilian casualties.

The best way to do that is by clearing the S-Rank Dungeon before it breaks open. They need to kill all the monsters inside the Gate, not letting them come out at all. So the S-Rank Hunters need to enter the Gate early and wipe out the monsters inside before a week passes.

Obviously, it won't be that easy because there are variables involved. There is too little information about the Kamish raid in the story, so Indra doesn't know much about it. He doesn't even know if there are monsters other than Kamish in that dungeon.

But if Kamish alone is powerful enough to kill more than 100 S-Rankers, then it's possible that it is the only monster in that dungeon. However, he can't rule out the possibility of other monsters in that dungeon because Tokyo's S-Rank Gate has many Giants even though a Monarch is sealed inside as the Dungeon Boss.

But Kamish alone obviously has the power to surpass Korea's S-Rank Gate when it first manifested. Beru is from the 4th generation Ants, and the 1st generation is the weakest. Their only advantage is their great number with most of them being A-Rank monsters.

'If I remember correctly, the Queen Ant is the only S-Rank monster other than Beru. So she is the only S-Rank monster in South Korea's S-Rank dungeon for 4 years until Beru is born. If Kamish is the only monster in the USA's S-Rank Dungeon, then its power is unimaginable. And to think that such a monster is merely a soldier or a Monarch. It really is scary.'

Indra needs to achieve at least the power of a Monarch if he wants to save Earth. There's no guarantee that Jin Woo will fully recover before the Monarchs arrive. And even if Jin Woo already recovered before then, Indra still needed to have the power of a Monarch.

High beings like the Monarchs will remember everything before the time reversal. So they will prepare plans to defeat Jin Woo the Shadow Monarch who annihilated them after using the Cup of Reincarnation's last time reversal.

They won't be as careless as last time and will attack more carefully. Jin Woo and Odin said that it would still take 10 years for the Monarchs' army to arrive on Earth, just like in the story. Even the ones like Monarch of The Frost and Beast that appear earlier than others will still take almost 10 years to arrive on Earth with their full power.

But Indra won't just blindly believe that will be the case. There is always a chance of them arriving faster than predicted. So Indra needs to grow stronger rapidly. He needs to reach a level where he can fight and defeat Monarchs in less than 10 years.

'To achieve that, I need to raid and clear all S-Rank Gates that will appear. USA, South Korea, and Japan. I need to fight in those 3 S-Rank Gates, especially Japan. If I kill the Monarch sealed in Japan's S-Rank Gate, I'm sure I will get a lot of power after the system absorbs his power.'

Even Kamish's magic power should be pale in comparison to a Monarch. Though Indra doesn't know whether the Monarch's sealed & weakened state will cause a problem with the amount of power his system can take, which is quite the problem.

'Well, there's no use thinking about it too much. It's still a long way to go for me who isn't even an S-Rank yet. I just need to keep raiding dungeons and killing monsters now to keep leveling up.'

Indra chooses to enter another E-Rank Gate because he still can get a lot of XP from E-Rank monsters. He's also still worried he can't clear a D-Rank Dungeon alone and doesn't want to take a big risk when he still has a safer option. Unlike Jin Woo when receiving the system, Indra isn't in a desperate situation, so he can choose a safer option.

Another reason he chose this E-Rank Gate is because it was found last night so they are still just preparing the attack squad. It's a good time for Indra to attack and clear it because he won't need to worry about bumping into the attack squad.

After entering undetected with Stealth, Indra quickly finds the monsters. They are big fat brown larvae the size of adult dogs. The crawl on the ground disgustingly, makes Indra wonder if he really needs to continue or just retreat here.

Just imagining his fists touching those things has made him shudder in disgust. But this is a chance to grind XP and they look weak enough to die in 1 hit. They look like easy prey, but their appearance is very repulsive.

After thinking for a while, Indra decides to continue and kill those things. He needs to get used to it from now on because surely there will be more disgusting monsters he'll face in the future. There are many kinds of monsters under the Monarchs & he's sure there are those with disgusting appearances.

'I can't back off just because of this. I need to seize every opportunity and get stronger no matter what my enemies look like. ..... They are still disgusting though.'
