In the next second, Aleron's arm transformed mystically, turning into a meter-long spear from his elbow with ethereal shadow metal patterned with crimson lightning design. The black and red eccentric sparks that whirled around his transformed arm only added to the already phenomenal sight.
"Damn!" Odar was shocked. "This is a 100 Mana spell? Wtf…."
"This…" Darzax's eyes shone.
"Watch that deer," Aleron said before his arm—the Grimbolt Spear, pulsed with power and released something into his shadow, which instantly emerged from the Deer's shadow and struck it, entering its body as it cried loudly for a second before exploding.
However, not a single drop of blood dropped on the ground. Its bones were also darkened. It was like the Deer was completely sucked dry of its energy and vitality.
And that was not all because two nearby Deers were targeted next as the Grimbolt Spears struck them right after the first Sanguine Deer died.
Odar's mouth opened wide just like his eyes as he saw Sanguine Deers dying one by one with just one fucking Spell of 100 Mana! In just a few seconds, the horde of deer died!
'I am not dreaming, right?' Odar pulled his cheek and slapped himself, but the sight before him remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, Darzax's eyes showed a new emotion for the first.—It was a hint of excitement.
"My lord, may I take a look at that Grimoire?"
Aleron broadly grinned and waved his hand as the book floated before Darzax, "Sure."
"Boss!" Odar suddenly jumped and kowtow before Aleron. "Please take me as your follower, subordinate, servant, or even a human table! I'll be happy if you would just share a piss-worth knowledge with me from your unfathomable self."
'This guy reminds me of those boot-licking characters I read,' Aleron couldn't help but laugh. "Get up, Odar. If you want to follow me, then so be it. Grab those Deers' magic cores. We are done with my first Quest."
"Yes, boss!"
"Dax, let's return to our castle. I bet the Royal family must have a lot of treasures and resources," Aleron grinned. "I want to use those resources and get powerful faster."
"We shall do that, but," Darzax turned to the left and gave the Grimoire back to Aleron, "I'll read this later, my lord. For now, a group of five is approaching us with unknown intentions."
"One of them put a tracker on Odar, but I didn't remove it since I thought we should finish business with them at an inconspicuous place."
Aleron followed Darzax's gaze while raising his eyebrows, "Interesting."
The bushes and trees moved before Aleron soon saw a muscular warrior woman, and a beautiful charming woman following three men.
Aleron's gaze was stuck on Rias as his male instincts got kicked. 'I never thought I would see those beautifully described fantasy characters in the books I read right in front of me, in the flesh…'
'And that girl is so pretty...'
"I apologize for this sudden intrusion," Rias said with a polite and slightly apologetic smile, her gaze locked onto Aleron, "Could I have a minute with you, please? I just need to see if this Artifact reacts with you."
"Do anything funny to my Lord, and none of you will live to see the next second of your life," Darzax said with narrowed eyes before the scenery around them changed.
But that was not the only thing that changed.
Roxen—A Commander Knight of Longinus Empire—Legendary-rank. Her face drastically changed, her eyes showing dread.
Ragnar, short guy Balu, and tall-slim guy Tarao—Three Bannerate Knights of Longinus Empire—Epic-rank. The trio's face changed into a horrified one, their eyes showing suffocation and fear of death.
Princess Rias—the youngest Princess of Longinus Empire—Legendary-rank, and strongest in this party. In search of a person that a Divine Seer prophesized would be in this region ruled by three kingdoms. For her future, she needed to find this person and go through a certain trial.
Her eyes showed great shock and a hint of graveness.
This special group of people encountered one not bound by anything of their world on this day…thereby completely changing their destiny and twisting their fate.
