Soon, Uchiha Karan arrived at the Shimura Clan compound, and Uchiha ninjas began entering the compound. The barrier team of the Uchiha clan spread out and surrounded the Shimura Clan. A massive red barrier was erected around the Shimura Clan, visible to many people in Konoha.

The main reason the Uchiha Clan could reach the Shimura clan so swiftly was that the Uchiha clan had not been relocated to the outskirts of Konoha; they were still situated in the heart of the village.

Within minutes, the entire Shimura clan compound was filled with members of the Uchiha Clan. The members of the Shimura clan remained alert, but they refrained from attacking. They had been instructed by their Clan head not to show any resistance. The fear was that the Konoha Police Force might kill anyone who resisted. The Shimura Clan head appeared in front of Uchiha Karan.

"Uchiha Karan, it seems there is a misunderstanding. Our clan has not harbored any Sunagakure ninja within our compound," said the Shimura Clan head.

"Whether there are any Sunagakure ninjas present in your clan compound or not will be determined by me. Let me conduct our investigation. If there are no Sunagakure ninjas, then you have nothing to worry about. We will leave the same way we came. It appears you were informed by the Yamanaka Clan," Uchiha Karan stated.

"Okay, we will cooperate," said the Shimura Clan head before departing.

Soon, Nakamura arrived beside Uchiha Karan and whispered in his ear, "Master Karan, your space teleportation mark has been planted in different houses within the Shimura Clan. One has also been planted in the house of the Shimura Clan head."

Uchiha Karan nodded and spoke to Shukaku, who was beside him in his smaller form. "Transfer your Chakra to me," he requested.

Shukaku nodded and touched Uchiha Karan with its paw. In no time, Uchiha Karan's entire body was enveloped in tailed beast chakra. Uchiha Karan activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, and unbeknownst to anyone in the Shimura Clan, unknown individuals materialized in their houses, primarily within basements.

For the next few moments, all remained calm. However, just as Hiruzen arrived at the Shimura Clan Compound, multiple explosions erupted, accompanied by sounds of conflict emanating from different houses.

"What is transpiring here?" inquired Hiruzen.

"Examine what kind of barrier this is," directed one of the captains of the Anbu ninja.

The Anbu ninja attempted to analyze the barrier by hurling Kunai, but as soon as the Kunai touched the barrier, they were incinerated.

"This barrier is perhaps the 'Uchiha Flame Formation,' albeit on a larger scale," analyzed Hiruzen.

"Hokage-Sama, you are here," exclaimed Yamanaka Inoichi as he rushed to the scene.

"Inoichi, you seem to be in a rush. Do you possess any knowledge regarding this situation?" questioned Hiruzen.

"Yes, Hokage-Sama. Today, Uchiha Emiko captured a ninja and forwarded the individual to our intelligence department for interrogation. During my investigation, I uncovered that the Shimura Clan was concealing ninjas from Sunagakure. After this discovery, I immediately informed Uchiha Karan. Meanwhile, Nara Shikaku went to the Shimura Clan to ensure that you and Mr. Danzo were apprised of this matter. Were you unaware of all these developments until now?" Inoichi explained, his confusion evident in his final inquiry.

At this juncture, Uchiha Karan emerged from the barrier and positioned himself in front of Hiruzen.

"It's fortunate that you are here, Hokage. I must report certain matters to you," Uchiha Karan conveyed.

"Uchiha Karan, what is transpiring within? Open this barrier and allow me to converse with the Shimura Clan head. I want to confirm if they have truly betrayed us," said Hiruzen.

"Hokage, I cannot permit you to enter the barrier. We are uncertain of the true situation within the Shimura Clan. It might be perilous inside, and I cannot authorize your entry. Your security might be compromised, and as the vice-captain of the Konoha Police Force, I cannot allow the security of the Hokage to be jeopardized," responded Uchiha Karan as if really worried about Hiruzen.

The barrier opened once again, and Aiko emerged from it while clutching a ninja. "Master Karan, this is the ninja from Sunagakure. We discovered him in the residence of the Shimura Clan head. We have apprehended the Shimura Clan head as well. This Sunagakure ninja was also captured by our forces," Aiko reported.

Uchiha Karan nodded and instructed, "Hand this ninja over to Yamanaka Inoichi. He will extract all the information we need."

Aiko nodded. Just as she was about to pull the ninja away, the ninja uttered, "Uchiha Karan, you've made a mistake by capturing our Kazekage. HAHA! We are only a fraction of the individuals here. The rest of our group has already moved to safeguard the Kazekage. If you're not within the confines of the Konoha Police office, no one can hinder us from taking the Kazekage with us. HAHA!" The ninja's laughter was accompanied by blood flowing from his mouth, and he died.

"Suicide. It seems they are prepared to die. Aiko, you should have thoroughly inspected the ninja for such contingencies," Uchiha Karan remarked.

"I apologize, Master Karan. This was my lapse," Aiko said, bowing slightly.

"Very well, we must hasten to the Shimura Clan compound," declared Hiruzen.

"Hokage, as I mentioned, your security is paramount. Venturing into a clan compound that potentially harbors traitors is highly dangerous. This falls within the purview of the Konoha Police Force's expertise. Therefore, I earnestly advise you to keep these Anbu ninja out of this," Uchiha Karan advised.
