A dozen of the Uchiha clan's finest young talents stood on the arena stage, eyeing each other with intense gazes filled with tension.
Fuma glanced at them briefly, a meaningful smile appearing on his face.
[As expected, after the war, the young Uchihas with the Three Tomoe Sharingan are becoming restless once again.]
Tetsuka, Hachidai, Yakumi, Fugaku...
These new-generation Uchihas, who had undergone the baptism of war and unlocked the Three Tomoe, all exuded a fierce aura. They arrogantly surveyed their surroundings with a "I'm the best" attitude.
Even some of the veteran Uchiha Jonin had gathered around, unwilling to miss out on this rare spectacle.
Displaying one's prowess in public was simply too enticing for the Uchiha clan!
The clan members watching from the stands erupted into cheers, encouraging the combatants. This clan tournament, reminiscent of a martial arts competition, had gained unanimous praise from everyone.
In the ninja world, entertainment was scarce.
Even Daimyo of The Land of Fire , who indulged in luxury and pleasure, would come to Konoha to watch the Chunin Exams.
"Brother Fuma, what's the rule for today's match? Is it a battle royale or an elimination? I'm fine with either."
Tetsuka was the first to speak, asking excitedly.
Now that his Three Tomoe Sharingan had awakened, he was deeply mesmerized by his own terrifying ocular power.
He, Lord Tetsuka, was determined to prove himself as the number one among the young Uchiha!
"Tetsuka, it doesn't really matter. You should just pray you don't face me first."
Fugaku teased Tetsuka. In the Uchiha clan, there was no one he acknowledged except Fuma.
Even Setsuna, who had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, was, in his eyes, destined to be swept into the dustbin of history.
"Fugaku, don't get too cocky. I've got those same eyes now!"
Tetsuka retorted to Fugaku, clearly displeased.
"You youngsters are full of energy, but let's see if you're still like that after a real fight."
A middle-aged Uchiha spoke slowly. His name was Uchiha Shin, and he held the title of elder within the clan.
His sarcastic tone drew unanimous glares from the younger Uchihas, who were all irritated by his words.
Uchiha Shin merely smiled faintly, arrogantly looking at Fuma.
The "youngsters" he referred to included Fuma as well, given his age—this was an indirect and mocking provocation.
Fuma didn't say anything but felt quite satisfied inside.
[Yes, more. Give me more]
What Fuma truly desired was for all the troublesome Uchihas to step forward at this moment so he could gift them his love and power all at once.
"Hmph, Shin, after all these years, you still haven't made any progress."
From the stands, Setsuna leaped into the arena, joining the fray.
Recently, the attitudes of the clan members had hurt Setsuna, who had served as clan leader for over a decade. He thought that if he could showcase the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan, he could at least retire with dignity.
Seeing Setsuna join in, Tetsuka and Fugaku both furrowed their brows, thinking simultaneously:
[This old guy, though not particularly strong, does possess some real skills. Winning won't be easy.]
The former clan leader's participation only made the atmosphere more intense. Cheers, applause, and jeering filled the training grounds, with some Uchihas even activating their Sharingan in excitement, scanning the battlefield.
Kushina curiously observed the scene. The excitement among the Uchihas was something this Uzumaki couldn't quite relate to.
She poked Minato and whispered, "Minato-kun, who do you think will win?"
Minato, with a knowing look, chuckled and replied, "Based on my understanding of Brother Fuma, none of them will win."
Nearby, Obito overheard the conversation and angrily interjected, "What are you saying? Brother Fuma is fair. How could no one win?"
"And by the way, how did you two sneak in here?!"
Indeed, Minato's blonde hair and Kushina's red hair stood out in a sea of black-haired Uchihas.
However, Obito conveniently ignored the fact that his companion Konan had blue hair—a case of double standards, perhaps.
Minato just smiled at his student from the original timeline and said:
"I may not be an Uchiha, but I am your clan leader's disciple."
Obito was shocked, unable to believe that Fuma's disciple was an outsider!
Fuma's deep, magnetic voice echoed, interrupting their conversation and drawing everyone's attention to the center of the arena.
"Today's match won't be a battle royale or an elimination. Instead, I will fight alongside you, discussing our insights as shinobi."
Fugaku blinked, sensing something was amiss. A feeling of unease crept up, and he had an urge to retreat.
Tetsuka, however, didn't notice anything strange and casually asked:
"Brother Fuma, make sure the teams are fair. Otherwise, whoever's on your team will win for sure!"
Setsuna also sensed something off. Having once fought alongside Tsunade against Fuma, he recognized this script all too well.
Fuma's gaze silenced both Fugaku and Setsuna. With a lighthearted tone, he said:
"No need for teams. I'll be a one-man team, and all of you can form the other."
The entire training ground erupted in disbelief. Was the young clan leader challenging all of Uchiha's elites by himself?
The crowd roared Fuma's name in unison, eager for the upcoming battle.
A one-against-many fight? It was an arrogant move, but it perfectly aligned with the Uchiha's temperament.
Obito turned in shock toward Minato, realizing that the blond had already anticipated this.
Minato merely raised an eyebrow, as if to say Obito was still too young.
On the field, the Uchihas frowned. As the clan's elites, they had their pride.
In the shinobi world, a Three Tomoe Uchiha was considered unbeatable in single combat.
Tetsuka, Hachidai, and Yakumi glared at Fuma with traces of dissatisfaction. As Uchihas, the worst insult was having their strength underestimated.
Shin snorted heavily. He harbored considerable resentment toward Fuma for his youth and his responses to the Hokage's office.
In Shin's mind, the Uchiha should be led by someone experienced and steady, and Fuma's style was nothing short of rebellious.
Shin glared at Fuma, shouting:
"Fuma boy, are you looking down on the Uchiha clan? Even if you are to take over as clan leader, you should show respect to your elders!"
Fuma ignored him, raising three fingers.
"Well, since no one has any objections, the match will begin in three seconds."
Fugaku and Setsuna exchanged glances, and Setsuna immediately commanded:
"Everyone, form a defense formation with me as the core and Fugaku as the vanguard. Quickly!"
Shin, however, shook his head disdainfully. His Three Tomoe Sharingan spun rapidly as he glared at Fuma.
Recently, he had made breakthroughs in genjutsu. Soon, he would show this arrogant boy the extent of his power!
But before he could even gather his chakra, Fuma's third finger had already dropped.
Shin, who had planned to say something, suddenly realized that Fuma had vanished from his sight.
All he could catch was a faint afterimage. The dynamic vision granted by his Three Tomoe Sharingan seemed to fail him at that moment.
Fuma reappeared right in front of Shin, his large hand grabbing the elder's head. The overwhelming force left Shin with no room to resist, as he was hoisted into the air.
Fuma exerted a little force and slammed Shin's head into the stone tiles of the ground, testing the hardness of his skull.
"BAM!!"
The stone tiles shattered, and the impact between the skull and the ground echoed through the arena, leaving the crowd in stunned silence.
Shin, despite being a veteran Three Tomoe Sharingan user, managed to gather chakra to protect his head, but even that wasn't enough.
Fuma smiled at the struggling Shin, gripping his head and smashing it into the ground again.
[Good, I was afraid he might die too quickly]
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
With a rhythmic motion, Fuma repeatedly slammed Shin's head into the ground.
The atmosphere in the arena grew eerie. This bullying style of fighting introduced the clan members to a new understanding of Uchiha combat.
Shin coughed up a mouthful of blood. Even with chakra protection, the force of the blows made it feel like his head was exploding. The dizziness was so intense that he thought he might die.
Just as he bit his lip, trying to overcome the pain and activate his Sharingan again, Fuma suddenly tossed him into the air.
"WHOOSH BAM!!"
With a swift kick, Shin was sent flying like a white line, crashing into the walls of the stands, creating a huge cloud of dust.
When the dust settled, Shin was found kneeling powerlessly on the ground, unconscious.
Fuma hadn't originally intended to be so harsh on his own clansman, but Shin's arrogant demeanor and that phrase, "Fuma boy," made it clear to Fuma that some people still needed to be taught a lesson.
In any shinobi clan or village, there were always those old men who couldn't stand the younger generation and felt the need to interfere. For such people, Fuma believed, a heavy hand was necessary.
Fuma waved his hand, and a group of young Uchiha women quickly ran over to begin treating Shin's injuries.
This was the medical team Tsunade had trained for the Uchiha clan in her spare time, and it was also part of Fuma's early preparations for this battle.
Fuma smiled as he looked at the Uchihas, who had already organized themselves under Setsuna's command. Nodding in satisfaction, he praised:
"As expected of Clan Leader Setsuna. You're nothing like those who just talk."
However, Setsuna remained serious. He was the one who knew Fuma's strength best.
"Everyone, focus! We can't afford another mistake!"
Setsuna shouted sternly.
Even though Fuma had once broken through his Susanoo, the moment he stepped onto the battlefield, Setsuna would do everything in his power to win.
This was the pride he had to uphold as the Uchiha clan leader!
Though deep down, Setsuna knew he probably wouldn't win.
