Destiny

Zheng Yuhan sighed it was really long time, when was the last time he went back to his world. He never actually visit after leaving that place.

He looked at Lucy, the girl fell asleep in his arms, he sighed softly seeing her sleeping in his arms. She must have encountered trouble there to run to him.

What can he do to her? If he protects her now, she may never learn how to fight for herself in future.

He didn't want to protect her, but he wanted to teach her to protect herself instead of relying on others. If she depends on him she will never know how much strong she was herself.

She was a rare hybrid, she has the power of invisibility, and power of ice, if she can master both well, she may one of the greatest masters in the world of Naturalis.

"Master," someone interrupted him. It was a man in silver hair and reddish hue eyes, his face was no less than a model, maybe his face was way handsome than any other male model.

Zheng Yuhan was not not at all surprised, as if he already knew the person, and he did.

He started putting sleeping Lucy on the sofa. He was worried she may catch a cold, which is why he opened his coat and put it up on her. He got up and poured himself a glass of water.

He didn't look up at the guy who was standing and called him master before. Gulping down the water in one go, he sat down on one of the chairs,"Master?" Zheng Yuhan scoffed, he held on his glass tightly. When did his own brother become so distant to him.

Evan sneered hearing his word, he still liked to play the weak one. He felt disgusting, if it was not him he may not lose everything.

From birth, Evan was always ignored by everyone, even if he got love and care but his brother always got more. He was just extra one, like a plan B if something happens to his brother their family may not be lived without any heir that was the sole purpose of birth.

If it was not for Zheng Yuhan, he had to not lose his one and only love, if it was not for him he would not be a second option, if it was not for him he would be the sole heir, if it was not for him he would be loved by everyone.

Only because he was his brother, he never got the thing he wants then how could he let him have what he wants. But Zheng Yuhan only yearned for his mother, and she already went away from him, he can't even revenge him.

He was so lucky, but why him? What did he do to be blessed so well? Zheng Yuhan just killed the closest people in his life, and he only got blessed for it while he lived everyday in pain. Why him?

Evan always looked for the question but he can't find it, he can't. And it was more painful than seeing your enemy living a good life.

"Why? Am I not one of servants, a servant to be your copy." Evan snorted, his heart felt pain, a pain of hatred, anger, and disappointment on himself.

He didn't even want to see his face, but now he had to meet him because it was time. Time for that curse to take place. Dead is uninvited and after the phase he would be the only one important to others, he would be the prince.

He just needed to make the curse take place faster. According to the curse, he had already met his beloved and Evan just needed to make them fall in love with each other and the curse would be bound to happen.

He will only make the destiny working, he was not at fault, and helping the destiny was not wrong.

Zheng Yuhan didn't say anything, his grip on the glass got tighter and tighter, until the glass was shattered into pieces in his hand.

Evan was shocked for a bit but he didn't feel or bad towards him but he felt more disgusting, seeing blood dripping from his hand.

"Tsk. You have still not stopped playing miserable." Evan commented before walking towards Lucy and carrying her in his arm he started to leave, he didn't want to see him anymore. Everytime he sees him, he just wants to choke him to death, but he can't.

Someone said the truth, seeing your loved one daily but you still can't hold her or touch is more painful than losing her forever, it's just that in his case, it was the hated one. He can see daily smiling and leaving the best life and he can't do anything just watch it from afar, and dying every second painfully remembering the past.

It was the difference between the both, god is not that good as it is said. He was cruel and heartless; he gives some everything and takes everything from someone.

Evan opened the portal and left together with Lucy. Zheng Yuhan wanted to say to him, it was not him who killed her, it was not him who wanted all those spotlight, he wanted just his family, his mother, Evan, his father everyone. He only wanted that but for his dream he lost everyone close to him. Why does this always happen to him?

Was this the price for asking a happy family.

Zheng Yuhan left his wound open, he didn't feel the pain from the wound but the pain in his heart was so tormenting, and it didn't have any medicine.

Zheng hid her eyes with his other arm, he just didn't want to see the tears of him. He didn't want to show it to others, or he didn't want to feel his tears.

It was painful yet he has to take it, he has to take all the pain. It was his destiny, destiny written thousand years ago.
