"Ara?"
"F-father?"
"Where's your mother?"
"Mom's in the room, Dad."
"Well, that's that then. I want to rest too. I'll borrow the car tomorrow, okay?"
I couldn't help but nod as dad walked past. I felt like asking about what Rain gave me, but my father quickly left me.
"Ara!"
"Rain?!"
Rain suddenly pulled me. Then we were on the back porch of the house, right behind the door.
"Rain, what are you doing?" I asked him.
Rain smiled happily in front of me while I was still waiting for his answer.
"Ara…"
He looked me straight in the eye while gently holding my cheeks with his hands.
"I already proposed to you."

I didn't expect Rain to say this. My heart is about to burst. What I feared is now happening.
"Rain, but I haven't—"
"I know you haven't answered my declaration of love. But I'm sure you love me too, Ara."
