Nathaniel arrived in the heart of the city.
His eyes glowed at the bedlam that had befallen the city. "I'm shocked. I can't believe they call this city safe, it's shocking!" he exclaimed.
When he knew well that he was responsible for all the suffering that was going on. People broke into stores and robbed them, others fought brutally in the streets, while the rest caused harm to themselves.
Buildings were set on fire, and people ran up and down causing massive destruction in their wake. Nathaniel stood still with a devious smirk on his face.
"This is the beginning, the worst is yet to come," he declared watching everything set ablaze.
There was someone he once knew that would have appreciated a front-row seat to the show. To watch the world burn. Thinking of him, his eyes moistened again. He didn't bother to wipe them and let them fall freely.
