Who am I…. ?

Yes.. I am the daughter of two renowned mad genius scientists. My parents met each other when they were in school. It was love at first sight. They were both orphans, and bore the same surname, Bai.

They got married after having enough fortune, but sadly my mother couldn't have a child due to the exposure to radiation.

My father wasn't bothered about it, and his love for my mother intensified. After three years of marriage, my mother had me. It was a miracle. They were so happy. My existence brought great happiness to them. But…..I had complications. The doctor said it was a rarity, and my existence couldn't be scientifically explained. Due to the enormous radiation, I was greatly affected.

My parents didn't want to lose me. They did everything to save me , and eventually became successful. They created an advanced AI , and integrated it into my body. The radiation allowed me to have supernatural powers.

And it made me forget the people I know. At some point, I would release the energy when my emotions go haywire.I named the AI , Deca.

Another side effect of the radiation was that it made me extremely brilliant.

I could solve High schoolers' work at the age of five. My parents taught me everything I needed to know. I just went to school to have the experience.

The AI made the radiation dormant in me. And I was able to live like a normal child. I could enjoy what every young child could. But everything came to an end, one day. I was nine years old at that time.

An ambitious scientist found our base. He wanted my parents work. My parents' greatest creation was inside me . They protected me. I watched as he murdered my parents from an invisible transparent glass box.

Deca and I survived the blast. We watched each other's backs from then on. We survived alone. We killed for money, but we made sure to kill the bad people. Our enemy was already powerful, having the backing of the president. My parents' works he stole made him known all over the world.

Slowly we made our way up to the top, until we were able to infiltrate our enemy's base. On his birthday, I kidnapped him , his daughters, and wife. I made sure he died a painful death. I escaped from his house before his son came in with backups.

I went to the place my parents were resting, the ocean. I read the last chapter of my favorite book, ' Rose' . With a smile, I jumped into the ocean. And you know the rest.. I died.

Now.. I am drowning. The only way for me to survive is to come up.

Bai Fengxi moved up, struggling against the high current.

It was hard. Her body….was like an image. She didn't have any bones in her body. How can she move…?

Regardless of that fact, she tried to move up. Because the young girl from before, said something about…. sleeping for a long time. And ….. state of consciousness. So…she had to escape this state of consciousness to wake up.

But….I was already dead. Can it be what I am thinking? Anyway, the only way for me to know is to survive this.

With renewed Will, Bai Fengxi started swimming up but it was really hard. As she moved up , she was pulled back. No matter how hard she moved, she would be pulled back. But she wasn't one to give up, so she continued.

One hundredth try, she was breathing heavily and tired. Her limbs were aching , but she didn't have limbs.. right? Her eyelids were closing, and she was losing her focus. The ocean looks blurry now.

' Is this how everything is going to end?'

Immediately that thought crossed her mind, the image of the beautiful young girl appeared in front of her.

' Ugh…am I already hallucinating?'

' No, you aren't. It's time for us to wake up.' The young girl answered and stretched her hands out.

Bai Fengxi eyed her hand suspiciously.

' I know you have a lot to ask, but this isn't the right time. All our questions will be answered when we wake up.'

Hearing what she said , the last doubt that Bai Fengxi had vanished with the current.

She held her hands tightly. The light coming off her body , intertwined with Bai Fengxi . Her strength returned back to her . She pulled her up, and they reached the surface of the water.

' Our wellbeing is now in your hands.' With that said, the girl dispersed.

' Ahgh…Couldn't she tell me how to get out of here?' Bai Fengxi floated on the surface of the water, as she looked around for an exit.

Suddenly, the space lit up. The intensity made Bai Fengxi close her eyes, immediately.

After the light receded, Bai Fengxi opened her eyes. But her surroundings had changed. She had escaped the state of consciousness.

She could feel her limbs, and breathe. But why can't she open her eyes…?!
