CHP17 Family

Over 20 years had past since the incident with Dalhia and the reuniting with Freya. All of the Mikaelson siblings stayed in Scotland for the next couple of years. After the cursing of Rebekah and having a new sibling to get to know, they all felt it was best to not part just yet, so they stayed even Kol who was notoriously known for not wanting to spend with his siblings.

It was Finn's job to get Freya up to date on the current times, after being last awake over a hundred years ago. Thankfully for Freya, all the Mikaelson's knew the language she spoke so there was no problem in that area but she was forced to learn the local language if she wanted to communicate with anyone that wasn't them. Ada ended up showing her a spell that would let her absorb a language into her mind, all she would have do it is practice for a few weeks and the she would be fluent.

Kol loved that his new sister was a witch. He got to show her some things he had been learning and working on but could not put into practice himself.

Rebekah also loved having a new sister. For her whole life all she had was brothers so she felt it was a nice change of pace to have someone she could discuss girl things with.

Elijah and Klaus were both a bit more reserved. Klaus didnt start to trust her straight away, not having found a reason to yet. Elijah was a lot more relaxed and just hadn't spent enough time with her, as she was spending most of it with Finn and Rebekah.

After 2 years of living with Finn, Freya finally moved out of his place and moved into her own after finally adapting to the area. During this time she got very big on family and started to take it on herself to watch over them.

With all the Mikaelson's in Scotland in was bound to course chaos, which it did. After 2 years of managing barely arguments started to get out of hand and fists started to be thrown. So they decided it would be best to split up again. Kol, Elijah and Rebekah would leave back to where ever they wished, leaving Klaus, Finn and Rebekah in Scotland.

All though the Mikaelson's would fight, they would never seriously wish each other harm, so they left on good terms, agreeing to meet back up in 5 years. Giving the time Klaus needed for a well deserved break.

After killing Dalhia he had sent word to his daughter that she could return if she so wished. Sigr ended up deciding to stay for a couple more years before returning, so would back in the next year or so. Bad timing he thought, he and Aurora would be away for the next 2 years themselves.

Himself and Aurora finally went on that break they discussed earlier, leaving back to Klaus's homeland Scandinavia for a year, then going to her homeland France.

They arrived back refreshed. The last 2 years was spent having fun and relaxing. The supernatural leaders of the country had the shocks of their lives at the amount of chaos we caused. Usually we would spend the time away being stealthy and incognito but after a running with an unpleasant group of witches, both felt it would be unlike them not to respond how a King and Queen should.

Back home Klaus finally got to spend time with his older sister. Him and Freya were alike in lot's of ways, both would do whatever they could to protect their family, both very powerful and can both be very manipulative and dastardly when they want.

With them both being similar it took them some time to warm up to each other. But Klaus was willing to wait, knowing that they would make a formidable team, her the strongest witch alive and Klaus the strongest creature alive.

One issue they decided to discuss one day was her lifespan.

"You know that your going to die in like the next 40 years?" Klaus said as he stroked a crow he had caught in his hands. Both he and Freya were walking together in the woods, on their way to Finn's house.

"40? I was thinking more like 30." Freya replied, no reaction visible on her face.

"So what? Any plan to not die?" Klaus asked with a curious look on his face.

"I had though of it." She said with a musing look on her face.

"Finn will be devasted, if he was to lose you again." Klaus stated chucking the bird back into the sky.

Freya looked at the bird as it flew away, asking her brother. "And you brother, would you be devastated?"

"Not devastated... more confused as to why." Klaus said after pondering for a few seconds

"So what would you suggest?" Freya turned to look at her brother with a wondering look on her face. "If you think about even suggesting turning myself into a vampire, I will throw you into them trees." She said pointing at the forest.

"Not at all sister." He laughed, "I was thinking we could adapt it like the Original spell, the one Esther used to fashion the spell to create Vampires."

"And you have the original spell?" She asked

"We have her grimoire," Klaus replied. "The spell she used to turn us into vampires is there. If any one can rework it to just grant immortality, it will be us." Convincing Freya with his words.

"I'll think about it." She replied after a few moments.

Klaus looked at his sister in disbelief. I've just agreed to help you gain immortality, be a bit more upbeat about it. But thats not what he said.

"Fine, be quick though. You don't want to gain immortality as an old bat."

Freya chuckled. "Ill be fine in that area. With the right herbs I can slow down my psychical age by tens of years."

They finally arrived at Finn's place. Freya knocked on the door to be swiftly greeted by Sage, Finn's wife. Freya wasn't a fan.

After the end of the night of dinner. For some reason Finn was still living as if he was human, eating their food. I understand having some on hand for Freya's sake but the fact he was still acting as a human really baffled Klaus.

Freya agreed to gain immortality, as I walked her back to her manor.

"I'll help you work out immortality." She said, "I been thinking it over and I don't want my siblings to watch me die."

Klaus could see she still had more to say so kept quite and let her speak.

"I don't know how many more threats to our family there will be as well," Freya she said solemnly, "As the oldest I should be there to help to keep you guys safe."

"Well, I wish you a happy and eternal life." Klaus said to his sister with a wild look in his eye "I fear for our enemies sake."

"As do I." Freya said with an also vicious look in her eye.
