Strength of a Sphinx

Akila soon came back with some bandages which I took before personally wrapping her pawed foot and ankle up to help deal with the swelling.

"Ooo, that looks like that hurt." I heard a familiar voice as I turned to see Liona standing behind me with a soccer ball under her arm.

"Yeah it does, I'm gonna have to sit out for the rest of the game." Nubia says before I help her up along with Akila and Ankha.

"We got this Darius, why don't you take Nubia's place within Liona's team." Akila suggested to me as I looked back as they were now 6 v 5 without her.

So I nodded, "Alright I'll join in this game then." I said following along with Liona as now our team was only those from the Eastern Tribes with the Opposing team filled with members from the North, South & Western Tribes.

So on my side was Me, Liona, Aurelia, Zuri, Bahati and Shahina making a group with a Sphinx, Lion, Falcon, Aligator, Hyena and Hippo tribes forming solely of the eastern Tribes.

Where as on the other side they had Kitan, Amari, Grishna, Bularia, Thema and Habiba and in order being part of the Cobra, Warthog, Orc, Gerudo, Cheetha and African Bison Tribes respectively.

"Well even if this is your debut little prince, doesn't mean we will go easy on you!" Grishna exclaimed but I just smiled at that before I began to play with the soccer ball with extreme precision in my feet, knees and even my heads coordination.

"And I wouldn't expect anything less, it would be to easy to whoop you in this game then." I said giving a cocky smirk which seemed to set her and Bulgaria off, just like Liona and Bahati, those two were the hyper competitive types.

"Then bring it on then! I want to see you eat those words!" Her and Bularia getting fired up began to get their entire team fired up in return, and the same could be said for this while the parents watched on.

"That's my little fire starter! Get'em Grishna! Show them your skills!" Her mother(Futa) shouted out towards her making her more eager to show off.

Realizing everyone's parents were watching everyone else began to get serious with me calming myself as my muscles began to loosen up before I lifted up my foot while balancing the ball on it before kicking hard upwards sending it flying into the air, "Then let's get this started then!" I say as me, Liona and Bahati head for the ball while Grishna, Bularia and Thema took the attacker positions while the rest acted like the defenders.

Sphinxes are known to be mythical creatures in my home world but here the Sphinx is known to be the pinnacle race of all the cat Beastmen species as we have gained all the benefits of all the other cats.

With a cheetahs and jaguars speed along with a Lion and Tigers strength and many more even with my lithe and I guess effeminate body but even without putting in the training yet I am already very fast and strong for my age, though of course I could be faster or stronger as in legend's Sphinxes could travel across the entire Sahara on foot within a single day and the strength to topple pyramids.

Though maybe I won't reach that point I will be stronger and faster when I'm older at least, although if I don't try to get stronger then all of these girls will be able to overpower me quite easily.

Futa's have a much easier time to gain strength thanks to the Z chromosome within them so if I don't put in the effort I won't be able to surpass them and where we live in a world where the strength is put above all, either physically or even mentally for some, even if I am a prince in a sense I won't be able to choose who I want to be with when I grow up.

Sure as a male I can have many, many wives the problem comes that I won't be able to choose and I would only be able to be with those that are strong as my lovers and wives, but that's really bad as if I am only seen as a trophy the other tribes will do what they can to try and usurp the lands my tribe controls and if that happens I will be nothing but a sex slave to whoever would own me and I don't want that to happen.

While I was thinking these thoughts me, Liona and Bahati were playing interference trying to reclaim the ball as my launch towards them with the ball was to give them the start advantage of this new game, a form of hospitality you could say as our team would be the home team here with them being the away team.

But the one to get the ball was Bularia but she quickly passed it over to Thema who began to head towards us with her extreme speed and agility.

Liona and Bahati tried to stop her but her smaller size and speed made it easier for her to avoid the larger and much slower girls in her eyes as she began rushing towards the net.

"If you want to get there you need to pass me up first!" I couldn't help but shout out as I ran up to her, keeping up pace with her as I had my leg work to try and take the ball from her but she was trying her hardest to keep me from taking it while Grishna and Bularia were blocking Liona and Bahati from helping me.

The defenders couldn't join the interference until they got closer to the net as unlike normal soccer the defenders were the back line and couldn't go past their 1/4th of the playing field where as the interference could only go everywhere on the field.

We kept trying to work it between our feet until I was finally able to find an open and kicking it out of her grasp before I slid on past her as I began running in the opposite direction from where she was going and heading towards the other teams goal.

"Nice one Darius! Now take this goal home!" Liona couldn't help but shout out as now she and Bahati were trying to keep them from helping Thema out.

"Give me back the ball!" Thema was trying to catch up with me but she was starting to get a bit winded from our tussle in taking the ball from her earlier.

"Not a chance! Now let me show you some moves!" I said with a grin before I kicked the ball high up into the sky, up to around 5 times my own height, roughly 5 meters straight into the air before my legs tensed up and I leaped high into the sky.

Sphinxes have the power of all the cats, including the Caracal's, the highest jumping race of cats in both nature and Beastmen so I could easily jump that height to reach the ball high in the sky.

"Take this!" My leg tenses up and enlargens as I use the strength of a tiger with my leg as I smash the ball with my foot as it's sent flying towards the net and straight towards Amari.

She holds out her arms and gets ready to catch the ball and she reacts fast enough to catch the ball however, "Ugh!" She couldn't help but grunt out as the speed and the force is to much for her to hold back causing her to be sent flying backwards into the net and ultimately resulting in a win for our team.

I landed smoothly back down on the ground, as all cats do, before I was hoisted up by Liona and Bahati who cheered for me along with the rest of our team while the parents clapped and enjoyed the show the kids had put on for them.

But that wasn't the end of it as we did play several more rounds before the game ended in a tie as I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings and hoped all of us would get along and while some rivalry's began to form because of this all of the girls on both teams began to look at me in a better light, something all the parents were hoping for in the years to come.

But this party wasn't over yet as we had only entered the halfway mark as it was time I actually personally got to know each other girls from the various tribes who came here today.
