I've never been to a festival. It was not like there weren't festivity for the duchy to celebrate, but I never celebrated it with everyone. It was usually a time to dine with the duke and after that, we would separate ways. So this was a new experience for me.
"How long until this festival lasts?" I asked, watching people pass by the street while Sven and I were sitting on the dirty bench on the side of the plaza. After a lot of walking and window shopping, he urged me to sit down and rest as if that was enough to tire me.
"Until… I don't know?" I frowned and gazed to my side, where he was sitting. Sven was reclining, supported by his palms on the bench, sitting comfortably with his legs stretched out.
"Maybe until your father heard about it?"
"There's no way His Grace hadn't heard of this," I said, peeling my eyes away from him. "He knows everything that happens in the duchy."
"How do you know that?"
