~
Narration: Sylvia walked into the reception and headed straight for the receptionist desk to sign out then turning, she saw Matt sitting down tucking in his phone and smiling at her. She walks towards him.
Sylvia: Oh my God, you are still here.
Matt: Yes, I am.
Sylvia: I am so sorry for keeping you. How long was I up there?
Matt: Forty-three minutes but who's counting? Besides, I am a very patient man.
Sylvia: I noticed.
Matt: I hope you are still up for that lunch date?
Sylvia: Whoa, hold it there, pretty boy, this is not a date just a lunch that you asked me to as a sign of remorse.
Matt: Okay, correction taken. Do you drive?
Sylvia: Yes, but I don't have a car.
Matt: Good, follow me to the garage.
Narration: They walked out of the building and down into the company's garage. Matt leads Sylvia to a sports car and opens the door for her.
Sylvia: For someone who does the job of a trolley pusher in a company, you seem to have life going your way.
Matt: Don't get the wrong idea … this car isn't mine; belongs to my brother.
Narration: Sylvia climbed into the car and Matt climbed in behind the wheels.
Sylvia: You guys must have gotten off the wrong footing.
Matt: Something like that, but at least he gave me this job. Discussed with the CEO and decided that it was the best job for me to handle…
Sylvia: Whoa, hate each other much?
Matt: Oh, we did and I can't really blame him, I would have done the same in his place.
Sylvia: Ever tried to resolve the feud between you two?
Matt: Oh, I have tried but as step brothers, we are not too keen to be reunited.
Sylvia: Oh step brothers, but if you guys are not on the same foot, how does he give you leave to take his car out?
Matt: He doesn't, I just take it and apologize later.
Narration: They both chuckle then Matt looks outside and nods his head.
Matt: We are here. The Golden Dragon cuisine.
Sylvia: For a trolley pusher, you do have a lot of tricks up your sleeves.
Matt: You would be so surprised.
Narration: Matt parked the car and they both got out of the car. He leads Sylvia to the door of the restaurant and they are made welcome by an usher. He leads her to a table and signals the waiter.
Waiter: Good afternoon and welcome to the Golden Dragon. May I have your order sir?
Sylvia: The Golden Dragon is an exquisite place, don't you think it is a bit too much even for and apology lunch?
Matt: Hey, I am the one making the apology, and I come here all the time it is not as expensive as it looks. Get us your today special.
Waiter: Okay, anything else? We have the whiskey that you have been asking for.
Matt: Finally, do you drink whiskey?
Sylvia: Yeah sure.
Matt: Okay bring the whiskey.
Narration: The waiter turns and leave and Sylvia brings out her phone looking around nervously.
Matt: If the food arrives, don't wait for me. I have to use the restroom and I might be long.
Sylvia: Okay, if you insist.
Narration: Matt stand up and leaves for the restroom leaving behind his phone the table. Sylvia looks around the cuisine nervously. Matt's phone lights up and Sylvia's attention is drawn to it.
Narration: She takes a quick glance and sees a message from…'Marcus' she grabs the phone and luckily, Matt's phone is unlocked. She sees a chat between Matt and Marcus.
Marcus: Hmm, she actually called your lunch with her a date. Don't go around flirting with her, just help me find out if she can be a trustworthy and perfect personal assistant.
Matt: So let me get this straight, you want me to spy on her just to know if she can be good as your PA.
Marcus: That was why I told you to walk into her in the first place. Don't blow this just take her to the golden dragons and ensure that you do not leave her alone.
Matt: So I was called all the way from Pennsylvania just to come and be your spy? And you couldn't employ someone to do the dirty work for you?
Marcus: You owe me Matt, as much as your life so stop whining and just do as I ask.
Matt: Fine, it is not as if I have another choice.
Marcus: And please make sure that she doesn't suspect anything. I wouldn't want her to know that I sent someone to follow her around just to test her trustworthiness.
Narration: She covers her mouth to prevent herself from screaming in rage. She drops the phone back where it was when another message pops in. she immediately picks it up.
Marcus: Status report! I hope that she has been given something to eat.
Narration: She drops back the phone and grits her teeth in frustration. the waiter walks up to their table and sets the food on the table. She looks at it in disgust but then, she notices Matt walk out of the restroom and immediately grabs her cutleries and begin to eat.
