the bet

the weeks that followed after the whole incident with mechta were quite hectic.

turns out there were poeple who saw the whole fight between me and the overgrown monkey, so they reported it to the police as they will.

because civilians saw the fight, the police couldn't cover it up and say the heros took care of it instead they had to let the poeple know it was Akihito who took down the serial killer.his parents fainted when they heard this, both from just the shock and fear of what could have happened to their child.

Akihito got a lot of attention from the news as well as the kindergarten since they also heard about it.when Akihito was finally allowed to attend kindergarten again (his parents didn't let him out of the house for weeks, untill some much needed convincing).

he became really popular and almost everyone knew about him. I mean who wouldn't, a six year old kid took down a very dangerous serial killer on his own. they started calling him a prodigy however when you live in a world full of heros around every corner it is quite surprising that there were no heros to stop him sooner.

that was what one internet social super star thought and soon many others thought the same untill poeple started to suspect that maybe the kid didn't stop him instead it was all hoax, well it wasn't but that didn't stop poeple from spreading the whole thing around.

and after a few months of this going around, most poeple believed that it was just a public hoax and eventually poeple just forgot about it over time.well not everybody forgot since, bakugou certainly didn't forget since he kept on picking on Akihito.

now Akihito was completely nok with everyone thinking it was fake, actually he preferred it this way since since alot of the unwanted attention would once again just ignore him as they see him as the kid he is and besides when he does eventually show of his powers at the sport festival in a decade or so, they'll all be rushing back to him.

so with everything working out just the way Akihito wanted to he was happy or he was untill he noticed Izuku started to become more and more distant since the incident, so he dicided to ask him about it directly.

Akihito : " Izuku hey what's up"

Izuku turned the other way to try and ignore Akihito.

Akihito : " hey why are you ignoring me, do you not like me anymore or something"

Izuku said nothing.

Akihito now with a more serious voice.

Akihito : " Izuku....why have you been ongoing me for the last few months"

Izuku was silent once again.

Akihito : ".....fine then...I guess we're not friends anymore"

Izuku : " no...it's just"

Izuku started to tear up now.

Izuku : " I'm sorry you got hurt because you were trying to protect me and now your getting bullied because of it"

he said this while rives of tears were flowing down his face trying to wipe them of as fast as he could.....Akihito punched him in his face.

Izuku : " owe why did you do that"

Akihito : " because of what you just said...you think that just because of what happened to me you can just take all the blame now, I decided to fight him and bakugou is the bully"

Izuku : " but"

Akihito cut him before he could say anything else.

Akihito : " but nothing, your were the one I needed to protect so I protected you, that's it alright"

Izuku thought about it for a few seconds and looked back at Akihito before saying.

Izuku : " if your gonna protect me then who will protect you"

Akihito was at a lost for words and stood there for a few seconds.

Akihito : " well then I guess you're gonna have to protect me"

Izuku looked down at his fist before clenching hard and stood up to face Akihito.

Izuku : " yeah you protect me and I'll do the same"

Akihito : " hehehe yeah partner"

after that they fist bumped with both of them having smiles on their faces but they didn't stay there for long as one of the teachers caught them still standing outside of class, she barated them for a few minutes straight and then she sent them back to their class.

~5 AND A HALF YEARS LATER

it was a bright sunny day but still a bit chilly outside, it was currently April so the start of a new school year and the start of a new school for our protagonist since he has turned 12 just a few months ago, he will be attending middle school today.

Akihito : " alright today is a brand new day and a brand new school-"

Akihito was reminded of what happened the last time he said that and let's just say it didn't leave him with dry pants.

trying to forget the unpleasant memory he got ready for the day by taking a shower, getting his uniform on and going downstairs to eat his breakfast all before saying goodbye to his parents.

once he stepped outside and closed the door behind him, he looked around to see if anyone was looking. after making sure that there wasn't anyone to witness what he was about to do he closed his eyes.

after a few seconds the, some of the leaves around him started to move away from him untill his feet weren't touching the ground any more.

Akihito : " alright lets say hello to Izuku"

he flew. higher and higher at a rapid pace, so fast that the normal human eye wouldn't be able to see it only a blur. after he was high enough that no-one could see him he flew in one direct for a few dozen second before coming back down to the ground Infront of izukus's house.

Akihito walked to the door and knocked a few times, after a few seconds Inko opened the door. by now she would have been so full of guilt that she would have let herself go gained some weight however she was still the exact same only slightly older.

a few hellos later and Izuku came to door, waved goodbye to his mom and they were off.

Akihito : " hey Izuku guess what"

Izuku : " wait don't tell me....you can lift a whole car now"

Akihito : " what no I can't do that yet, my limits only 250kg"

Izuku : " yeah I know, then maybeeee"

Akihito : " dude I can fly now"

Izuku : " really that's so cool, can you show me"

Akihito : " well I can't cuz were in public now sooo"

Izuku : " aww come man really that's your excuse"

they both talked and laughed at the jokes they made all the way to the entrance of Alders junior high where Izuku was purposely tripped by someone and when Akihito tried to help him another person rushed 9ver to push him.

however before he could do that Akihito noticed them and moved to left then stuck out his foot.

??? : " ahhh ahhh ahhhhhh....ooowwww that Hurts"

Akihito went back to Izuku and helped him up from the ground. once he made sure that he was ok, Akihito turned to see that it was one of bakugous lackies on the ground while another one went over to check on him.

bakugou : " you guys are useless"

Akihito : " your the one who's useless, trying to become a hero and instead your here picking on your classmates"

bakugou : " shut up, you and deku are useless"

Izuku : " hey don't call Akihito useless, he can kick your ass with one punch"

Akihito : " Izuku calm down and I'm sorry for calling you useless bakugou, I just got a bit emotional"

bakugou : " huff you freak, why are you apologising"

Akihito : " nevermind that, we need to get to class come on Izuku"

Izuku : " oh yeah I'm coming"

it's true that it was strange for Akihito to apologise to bakugou even though he is a jerk but over the last 9 years he has been trying to befriend him because of the quest he got back then.

he only has 10 months left before skills is completely lost to him so he has to find a way to turn bakugou good, he could wait untill the time line starts but by then it will be to late.so with that on his mind, Akihito and Izuku went to class for the day.

~7 HOURS LATER

teacher : " Akihito could you come help me with some boxes, I know your pretty strong.

Akihito : " of course, you go home without me Izuku"

Izuku thought about it for a second but he dicided to just wait for him near the entrance, while waiting he took out his notebook but it was filled with stuff about heros instead of actuall notes.

bakugou : " hey what do you have there"

Izuku noticed bakugou reaching out for his note book and pulled it away however he failed to notice that one 9f his lackies was behind him and snatched it out of his hands.

bakugou : " why do you even need any of this, you'll never be hero"

as he said that, his hands started to make little sparks which eventually lit the notebook on fire, bakugou then threw it in the pond near them.

bakugou : " there much better hahaha"

Izuku quickly ran to the pond and fished it out but before he could retaliate Akihito jumped down from the window, which was 3 floors of the ground and ran towards bakugou, giving him a good punch to his noggin.

Akihito : " take that back you talking firecracker"

bakugou was in pain on the floor from that Punch but soon got up and tried to use his quirk against Akihito however his hand felt like it hit an invisible wall.

Akihito : " Izuku will be a hero and he'll be an even better one than you'll ever be"

bakugou : " if your so sure about that, then why don't you let Izuku prove it huh"

Akihito : " he going to when he gets into UA and you don't"

bakugou : " he can't even beat me, how is he gonna get into UA"

Akihito : " Izuku can beat you easy"

bukugou : " oh yeah, do you want to bet on that"

Akihito : "...you know what, I will"

bakugou : " fine when I beat deku then both of you will have to stop trying to become heros"

Akihito : " and when Izuku beats you you'll have to stop being a bully and be my friend"

bakugou : " whaa are you still on about that...I'll be your friend if you deku beats me which will never happen"

Akihito : " it will happen in 9 months got it"

and just like that bakugou was on his way leaving Akihito with a determined look on him and Izuku with one of complete shock.

Izuku : " what did you do, even you know I can't beat bakugou"

Akihito : " well yeah you can't"

Izuku : " (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃"

Akihito : " don't worry we still have 9 months to train you and by then you be able to take down bakugou like it's nothing"

Izuku : " I'll never be ready by then"

Akihito : " don't worry I have some very special training just for you"

Akihito hat a diabolical grin on his face, one that screams ' this is gonna be fun for me but not for you'

Izuku : " (❍ᴥ❍ʋ)....I'm gonna die aren't I"
