The Flat Earth (Part 4)
The Old man told them that his name was Aarvin. The children were happy with their dorms, the change of clothes on the beds as well as accessories and Night clothes. The dorms had washrooms and they could take bath as there was running water, liquid soap, shampoo, toothpaste, cream, etc. which they could use.
The children told Aarvin that they had asked him questions but had not got replies. He had informed that they could ask again but they should not ask questions in one go. They need to ask one by one.
They were ready to ask questions one by one.
They wanted to know if they could walk to the mountain to see the control room and the machinery there, especially when it was in operation during the landing of a spaceship. To this Aarvin had replied that they could and he would ask someone who goes to repair the machinery to take them along.
They also wanted to see the landing areas of the spaceships. Aarvin also agreed to this and said he would see when a visit could be organized for them.
The children wanted to know if there were others living on the Magical World as they wanted to interact with them to know how they lived and how the satellite functioned. Aarvin replied that they would meet the rest of the people here soon, and added that all the people were either at their homes or were at work. The area they had walked through was sparsely populated where they entered through the portal hence they did not see anyone.
Besides, their houses were also dome-shaped covered with grass.
Sherpa had felt that they were deviating from their directive which was to collect the crystals and head back the Utopia world and then back home to City B. Aarvin had understood what Sherpa was trying to say and said it was a lifetime chance for the children to explore.
Aarvin had explained that the children would perhaps never get another opportunity to visit here again or to make it big in their own country to travel to other satellites. Aliens coming or going is a hidden fact on Earth, but all the governments want to hide this from their citizens to avoid panic.
Aliens have been coming and going all over the universe since the beginning of Earth.
He further added that they were guests, and they can arrive at any time but they can only leave when their host lets them leave. He wanted the children to have an adventure of a lifetime before going back.
All the kids impressed upon Sherpa to let them avail this opportunity. After all, it would not take long.
The kids decided to let the Orbs locate the crystals after lunch and they sought permission from Aarvin to let the Orbs search for the appropriate crystals of the right size and shape.
However, Aarvin made it clear that the Orbs would not touch the crystals without seeking permission from the crystals verbally or telepathically. The Orbs heard this permission stipulation and they all hummed in agreement. They would naturally move after all the children and Sherpa had had their lunch.
After Aarvin left the children went to the respective dorms. Surprisingly, each bed had the name of the person who would sleep on it and the right size clothes were placed on the bed/ They all went to take bath one by one. The toiletries were all plant-based and environment-friendly. They were gentle on the skin also.
The new clothes were almost similar to the clothes they had got at the residential hostel of the scientists. The shirts were in light green and the long skirts were in various shades of green with floral or geometric patterns. The patterns on all the 5 skirts were different. The children knew how to wash their clothes so they had washed the clothes they had taken off and hung them to dry outside in the air drying area behind the dorms. Soon there were clothes hanging outside like dots and dashes of the SOS signal.
The boys had also washed their clothes and hung them out to dry. They were very happy with the plant-based environment-friendly stuff in the washroom. Their clothes were green t-shirts and brown trousers. Soon all the boys and Sherpa, as well as the girls, were ready to go for lunch. They all had got ready within an hour.
As the 1 hour time lapsed, Aarvin knocked at the door of the dorm of the boys. Then he knocked at the door of the dorm of the girls. They were in the dining hall within minutes.
Lunch was like a buffet system. You needed to pick up your plate and move in a straight line pouring the foodstuff onto your plate. There was tomato soup, followed by rice, flatbread, mixed vegetables, cottage cheese with gravy and peas, Kidney beans with gravy, curd, mint chutney, and mixed pickle. There was a rice pudding too but that was a sweet dish for after lunch.
The food was very tasty and was just like homemade food that their mothers cooked at home for them. The children were very happy as they managed to get food that tasted as if it was cooked at home by their mothers.
After Lunch, the children walked a little in the gallery and then went to rest for some time. As the food was so tasty that all of them had indulged themselves.
The children had been told by Aarvin that in the evening, the major people who managed affairs here on this Magical World, would be meeting them all for some sort of discussions.
The children asked the Orbs to divide themselves and the major portion leave to hunt for crystals. The rest remain behind to guard the children. The Orbs were reminded again that they were not to touch the crystals unless the Orbs had sought permission from the crystals.
Soon the Orbs left to locate the needed crystals which had come along with the meteorite showers.
