ALVARO'S HEARTACHE

"Why didn't you say this from the start? why only now? I do not believe it? how can Zenita get pregnant before you guys get married?" asked David as he straightened his back, examining the buttons and the testpack he was holding.

Alvaro swallowed his saliva hearing David's words which indirectly accused him of impregnating Zenita before marriage.

"Because of that, sir, that makes me feel sure that Zenita died not by suicide. About Zenita's pregnancy it wasn't me who got her pregnant but someone else. Do you understand what I mean?" said Alvaro with full eyes.

"Zenita doesn't play behind you, right Alvaro?" said David, glancing at Luna who was looking at his with a bright red face.

"Sorry Luna, I didn't offend you. I'm just making sure to accept this case along with Rendra's case." David said with a serious face.

"I'm pretty sure that Zenita won't do that, sir. I know my brother very well. But better, let Alvaro answer it because he's her fiancé who knows Zenita better." said Luna a little offended by David's words doubting Zenita's loyalty.

"What do you think about Zenita if you believe Zenita was the victim of a murder? And about Zenita's pregnancy did Jenita's parents know about this?" David asked with a full look.

"For now, Zenita's parents don't know at all that Jenita was pregnant and died because someone had killed her. I'll investigate this case first. Give your permission Mr. David, I will reveal everything." Alvaro said with full confidence.

David fell silent after hearing Alvaro's explanation. Feeling confident in Alvaro's abilities as well as Luna and Damian, David finally gave Alvaro permission to reveal Zenita's death as well.

"Well I give you permission to reveal the deaths of Rendra and Zenita if you think their cases are related." said David as he handed back the proof of the buttons and the testpack to Alvaro.

"Thank you Mr David, I will not disappoint your trust in the three of us. Soon we will uncover the case of the deaths of the two of them." Alvaro said as he straightened his back.

"Good! then you can go and continue your investigation. I hope you guys really reveal their deaths with time as soon as possible." David said with full eyes.

"Damian, have you been quiet all this time? do you have something to say?" David asked with a surprised look.

Damian just smiled as he turned his chair.

"I have nothing to say sir. I just feel happy, because I can be a team with great people in this institution. Especially in cooperation with Mr. David's mainstay Lioness." Damian said while glancing at Luna.

Luna's face turned red when she heard Damian's words openly praising her in front of Alvaro and David's superiors.

"Wow... be careful Luna. There seems to be something in Damian's heart right now." David said with a smile looking at Luna and Damian in turn.

"I'm sorry Mr. David, I think it's hard to happen to everyone. Just met, fell in love at first sight. Isn't that right, Luna?" Damian said in response to David's words and smiled at Luna.

Luna just smiled and nodded her head.

"Mr. David, looks like I have to go home now. Today I have asked permission to work for half a day." said Alvaro suddenly getting up from his seat.

"Where are you going Alvaro?! Why do you have to work half a day? Isn't there Luna right now?" asked David not understanding what had happened to Alvaro.

"Alvaro is not feeling well, Mr. David, he has asked permission to go home for half a day to the administration department," Damian said on behalf of Alvaro in answering David's question.

"Oh I see, then just rest at home and don't forget to go to the doctor. I know you would never go to the doctor if you weren't seriously ill." said David looking at Alvaro's face who was standing with a slightly pale face.

Alvaro nodded his head then left the room.

"Mr. David, I'm sorry for a moment." Luna said getting up from her seat intending to chase Alvaro.

"What's wrong with the two of them, sir?" Damian asked, surprised by the tension on Alvaro and Luna's faces.

"There is not anything. Maybe the two of them are still drowning in the sorrow of Zenita's death, because they are both very close to Zenita." David said not telling Damian about Luna and Alvaro's past relationship.

Damian nodded his head confirming David's words.

Outside the police station Alvaro walked a little limply while rubbing the nape of his neck which was getting colder.

"Alvaro!! wait!!" Luna called walking quickly to Alvaro.

Alvaro stopped his steps when he saw Luna approaching him.

"What's wrong?" Alvaro asked with a flushed face because his fever had started to rise again.

"Do you still have a fever?" Luna asked while touching Alvaro's forehead.

"Not too. you better go inside, it's your first day at work right? You can work with Damian first." Alvaro said with a jealous look.

"Are you jealous?!" Luna asked with raised eyebrows.

"What? jealous? do I have the right to be jealous?" Alvaro said while rubbing his forehead which was dripping with cold sweat.

"Not really." Luna said as she held her breath in pain in her chest.

"I'm home." Alvaro said with his body starting to limp again walking a little staggered.

"Wait Alvaro! let me deliver." said Luna walking beside Alvaro.

"No need, you come in. You have to work right?" Alvaro said starting to be stubborn.

"Not today, I work from tomorrow and you don't be stubborn. I'll take you to the doctor." Luna said grabbing Alvaro's hand and taking him to the car.

Alvaro pressed his temples when he saw Luna taking him to her car.

"Luna, but I brought my own car." said Alvaro when Luna pushed him into the car.

"Let Damian take your car home. Or tomorrow I will pick you up." Luna said as she closed Alvaro's door.

Alvaro sat with a complicated look, he didn't understand what was in Luna's heart. Is Luna's love still there for him?

"Luna, why are you doing this? what do you want?" Alvaro asked with more hurt feelings.
