Leticia's heart jumped at the voice. Not out of fear but out of excitement. 'Devon?!' She looked up to see him standing by her vanity, leaning on the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. The light in the room was bright, illuminating his majestic face.
She really wanted to jump at him but at the same time, she wanted to pull his ear. He'd left without saying a word.
Devon smirked, watching as her soft face morphed into an annoyed expression, "Do you just want to sit there pretending you're not elated to see me or you'd come over here and give me a hug?" He teased, his dark eyes sparkling.
Leticia rolled her eyes and placed the book on the bed before walking to him, straight into his arms. He wrapped his strong arms around her, chuckling a bit as she buried her face into his chest.
