Chapter 110( Rework)

" The pad is asking me to pick a team name for us, so what should we call ourselves." Nana asked while turning back to them.

" Mhhhh! Oh, how about the gals." Yame said in excitement.

" I don't think that fits, there are two guys after all. You boys got any other names." Nana completely shot Yame's suggestion down.

" W-what about team Hinamatsuri." Gojo was the one to suggest a name surprisingly, and it didn't sound bad but Nana looked at Ekko." You got any suggestions, because if not I'll put Gojo's down as our team name." Nana said.

"Ive not got much but just from the top of my head how about team...Team Ekko." Ekko said with absolute confidence.

"..."

"Team Hinamatsuri it is." Nana said in a deadpanned voice before officially entering them in the tournament

' Huh! What was wrong with my suggestion.' Ekko thought to himself.'

{Location: Yakushi inn}

Meanwhile, on the other side of Yakushi, the girls were having the best time, if the best time meant crying their eyes out at the movie they were watching.

It was completely dark in the theatre room. All the girls were huddled up in either blankets or

onesies and they were munching on pizza and popcorn that they had ordered to the Inn.

Rangiku wept a few tears while the other girls blew their noses at the movie's near ending." Come on, Jack you have to live for Rose." Rangiku shouted at the Tv.

" Sigh I don't think he'll make it, there in the middle of the North Atlantic, I'm afraid that...sigh." Masane couldn't even bring herself to say it, as she wiped her tears and simultaneously scribbled in her inspiration notebook.

"Hahaha!!!" Cana just couldn't take this movie seriously and was laughing the moment the whole ship split in two.

She wasn't laughing because of the people dying, no, even she wasn't that dark, she was laughing because she or more specifically her grandfather knew everyone on the titanic, and it wasn't a cruise ship but a disguised magic battalion that went to the North Atlantic to fight a wild leviathan.

It was the combined clash between her grandpa and the Leviathan that sank the ship.' Oh, I need to show this to him when I next see him, Hahahaha.'

Unlike in Ekko's old world, there weren't any survivors of the Titanic, just retired wizards that wanted to live a normal life.

" Ja-jack!! Jack! Jack!! please Jack..." Rose called out, but no matter how many times she called his name she knew even if she didn't want to believe it, she knew her Jack was gone.

And that's when she heard it, the shouts of hope just in her peripheral." Come back...Come back."

But no matter how much strength she mustard in her tired freezing body, her voice just couldn't reach the search team who was slowly leaving her sight.

That's when she thought of something, looking at the whistle around her neck she went to go grab it but immediately noticed that she couldn't because of Jack's hand.

She whimpered in sadness before mustering some strength to detach his cold lifeless hand from her wrist.

Once she did she looked at the boy she had grown so close with over the past few days, she kissed his hand one last time before letting him sink down to the bottom of the sea.

"I'll never let go, Jack. I'll never let go." She whispered before she grabbed the whistle and started blowing.

And if by some miracle one of the men on the search boat heard the faint sound and immediately told the other men to turn the boat around.

After that, the end credits rolled and the movie ended there. Ahri and Kai'sa sighed in relief, they didn't know how much more their hearts could take.

Meanwhile, Evelyn was smirking at the death of Jack but wished he had at least suffered a bit more before his death. But he did give her a few ideas about how she could tease Ekko next.' Maybe I'll have him draw me like one of his French girls, fufu!!'

On the other hand, Baiken and Akali were completely passed out from boredom, they weren't really into the romance kind of movies and preferred gritty horrors and action.

" That was really nice, too bad Jack couldn't stay with Rose, if I was there I could have restarted his heart with my difibultor gun." Eris said in slight sadness as her ears and tail drooped down for Jack and Rose's ending.

" So what's on the agenda next-nya."Eris jumped right back into being her happy and energetic self, as if she wasn't even sad just moments prior.

" Well I guess we can start going on that joy ride we planned, we'll shop at the mall for a bit before coming back home and relaxing with some wine, drinks, and games."

Ahri said and the girls agreed, so they started getting ready to go out and ball out but before they did Cana stopped them." Hey, that sounds fun and all but how about we spice things up a bit."

"Hey, Eris you ever been to a casino." Cana asked fully aware the answer was probably no. And as expected Eris shook her head while gaining a new food curiosity for this casino, was it something she could eat?

' A casino, I've not been to one since I went abroad that one time, but it's illegal to gamble in Japan unless they were sanctioned by the government like horse racing.' Rangiku thought and all the other girls were thinking the same thing.

" Don't worry I know a guy who knows a girl who has a cousin that can get us access to a privately owned casino...so you girls in."

The girls all looked at each other before Evelyn raised her hand and said." I call dibs on the Pagani huayra."

The girls blinked before smiling. Eris was still confused about what a casino was but since everyone was excited it must be something nice.

Meanwhile, Masane who had finished writing in her book suddenly winced while grabbing her head in slight pain.

It felt like she had gotten a sudden migraine but seconds later it disappeared like it had never been.

What she hadn't noticed however was her eyes turning from light brown to a bright jasper yellow.

{Yakusa: High school}

As the second years were getting ready to watch the Bossaball tournament, a certain number of students were instead practicing in a massive concert hall that could easily fit the whole school body.

Right now most of these students were practicing for the talent show that was going to begin in a few hours from now.

Kaori was one of those students participating and right now she was on stage playing her violin while looking at the empty audience.

After finishing her piece she got a clapping ovation from her fellow participants. She bowed before leaving the stage so the next group could practice.

Once Kaori left the stage that bubbly smile of hers was replaced with a worried frown, she stared at her hand which felt slightly numb after playing her musical piece.

" Why is it acting up now of all times..." Kaori said while massaging her wrist but it didn't seem to help with the numb feeling she was getting.

" Kaori you were amazing out there, and you looked so beautiful while playing, I wish I had never given up the violin."

" I know right, she really is talented I just know she will be a master violinist in the future, don't forget us when you're famous Kaori."

Girls from different classes walked up to her and complimented her and all she could do was nod and thank them.

But on the inside she felt annoyed, she didn't want to be but those comments, those words, they felt...hollow to her. Before the girls could strike up a conversation she made an excuse to leave.

Walking out of the hall and onto the school grounds Kaori made her way through the crowded streets but as she did the more and more claustrophobia she was starting to feel.

She looked around but ever so slowly she started to feel like the world around her was getting fuzzier, and even her hearing started ringing.

Her thoughts started to spiral and she began to hear those words the girls said to her in her mind.

{Ba dump, ba dump, ba dump}

Kaori panicked feeling her irregular heartbeat and knew she needed to get out of the open space she was in.

So she looked around for the nearest hidden area and spotting one not too far away she immediately made a B line to it.

Though what she may have missed was the worried look Ekko had given in her direction as he called out to her but didn't get the corresponding response he expected.

" What happened to her, did she hurt herself." Ekko saw how she was acting and immediately knew something was going on with her.

" Hey, you guys go on ahead, I just spotted a friend so I'm gonna say high real quick, don't worry I'll be back before the competition starts."

" Alright see you there, make sure you're not late." Nana said before dragging Gojo and Yukana along.

Ekko in the meanwhile looked to his left and spotted a food stand that was also selling some beverages. He bought two cans before making his way to the alley-like area Kaori had hidden herself in.
