Thankfully, no one disturbed him anymore, so he was able to sleep properly.
Luciel woke up naturally and saw Treyton sitting on the sofa while holding some documents.
"Good morning, Ciel. How's your sleep?"
"I finally had a good sleep. What time is it?" He asked while stretching.
"It is already near lunchtime."
"That's great; I'll go and see what Nina had cooked for lunch," Luciel said, ready to walk out of the room.
"Didn't you forget that you are still a patient today?" Treyton said with a smile while looking at him.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be a patient today."
He just woke up and immediately thought of food, so he temporarily forgot that he was indeed supposed to be the patient today.
"So, I am just supposed to stay in bed today. How long do I need to act as a patient?"
"Don't worry; you only need to act as a patient today."
"I can actually continue to pretend to be a patient as long as I don't need to just stay in this room."
He was staying at the villa anyway, so he could pretend to be a patient for a longer time as long as he could freely go to his room and downstairs to get food and other things.
"That's why I told you to only act as a patient today. It is only to act for Nina and those who were really interested in digging up details.
Tomorrow you could freely go wherever you want in the villa."
"I understand, so what about food?"
"Nina would take it up here later on."
"Ok," Luciel said and slowly walked around the room while stretching.
"When did it start raining?" Luciel asked as he looked outside through the window.
The rain was pouring heavily, along with strong winds. He could see that the plants outside were all being destroyed because of it.
"It started as soon as Nathan went out. There was even no forecast about it, but it continuously poured heavily as soon as it started," Treyton replied while still reading the documents he was holding.
"I hope it will stop soon; all the plants in the garden would be uprooted if it continued to rain this heavily," Luciel said with a frown while looking at the plants in the garden.
The plants that were growing beautifully were starting to lose their leaves and petals because of the heavy rain.
It would really be a pity for all the plants to just be destroyed.
However, it has been raining heavily for a few hours already, but it still hasn't shown any sign of stopping, so it might still continue raining heavily.
Knock, knock.
"Sir Treyton, your lunch is here," Nina said outside the room.
As soon as he heard Nina's voice, Luciel immediately went to lie back on the bed and closed his eyes.
He is acting as a patient, so of course he needed to be on the bed.
"Come in," Treyton said.
Treyton let Nina in after he saw him properly lying on the bed.
"Sir, I'll put your lunch on the table. Is Sir Luciel not yet awake? Should I just bring back his lunch later on?" Nina asked.
"No need; I will wake him up. He needs to eat his lunch. You don't need to worry about him."
"Okay, sir, I will be back to get the plates later," Nina said and went out.
When Luciel heard the door closing, he immediately opened his eyes.
He walked to where the table was and saw the dishes that Nina prepared.
"Huh? Why are the dishes prepared smaller than yesterday? Will this even be enough for us?" Luciel asked.
He had been staying in the villa for a few days already, so Nina already knew that his food consumption is high.
Knowing that he could eat a lot, Nina would always prepare more food for his meals.
"You are currently sick, right? Most sick people will not eat a lot, so of course most of the food here is only for me. Look, Nina even prepared soup for you," Treyton said in a teasing manner.
"You're the patient; you should eat the soup," Luciel said, and he put the soup in front of Treyton and even prepared his spoon.
"Now, you're willing to put food in front of me because you don't want to eat it," Treyton said with a chuckle.
"I don't dislike it; I just want to eat other things," Luciel corrected.
He wasn't picky with food, or even if he had been slightly picky in the past, all of it was already cured because, in the past seven years, there wasn't enough food to begin with.
If he wanted to survive, then he would need to eat anything that could fill his stomach.
He was even accustomed to eating expired food because of the lack of food supply.
Expired canned goods were generally better, but they also had to eat other things that weren't that good.
His taste buds weren't actually working properly because of the types of food he had been eating.
Well, even if his taste buds weren't working properly, he could still tell that the food he was eating wasn't delicious at all.
Fortunately, the body of Luciel Scarlet had proper taste buds, so he could properly taste all the food he was eating now.
However, even though he wasn't picky, he would, of course, enjoy more delicious things, especially now that he could properly taste them.
There's obviously more delicious food in front of him, so of course he would choose to eat it instead of just eating soup.
"I don't mind eating soup but remember to leave some for me too."
"Ok," Luciel said while getting some food on his plate.
Treyton should have seen how much he enjoyed eating his meal yesterday, so he said something in advance.
Well, Treyton made the right choice; if he hadn't said anything, he might have eaten all of it and wouldn't even have left something behind.
