But they didn't expect to see the royal princess and more so her taking the initiative to come talk to them.
The other two Zhou joined their sister and greeted the Lin Family.
After the initial surprise, the Lin siblings saluted and greeted them back.
"Please be at ease! I just wanted to know what you guys were doing since it looks something fun." Zhou Dongyu said while glancing at the basketball court.
"Replying to Her Highness, we siblings are paying a new game invented by our sister." Lin Fengmian the eldest of them answered.
"Really? A new game? What is it called? How do you play?" Zhou Meng beat Zhou Dongyu to these questions.
Lin Fengmian allowed Lin Huiying to explain the game and its rules as the inventor. From the time to the restaurant to all the explanation, demonstration, practice, and preparation took them 3 hours and 55 minutes. It was already afternoon by then. Fortunately, they had left right after breakfast in the morning.
The Zhou trio carefully listened to her and cleared their doubts when aroused. The game sounded like a lot of fun. Everyone seemed highly interested in it.
"So, what about the teams? How many players in each team should we play?" Lin Biao asked while counting the number of people standing there.
"We are eight people! So, does everyone wants to play or should we do three-on-three? And two people sit." Lin Huiying inquired looking at them.
Everyone looked at each other and agreed that they all wanted to play.
"So, it's five-on-five. Now for the extra two people...…." Lin Huiying looked around to find the other two people. And there they were – Sheng Xue and Sheng Jie.
"So, these are my friends, does anyone have any problem if they play with us?" Lin Huiying mainly looked at the Zhou trio since they were the royalties and the Lin family treated their servants quite well, so she knew that her siblings won't have any problem.
The Zhou trio could see that they were her maids from their attire. But they didn't mind it since they were the type to treat everybody with respect.
With that, the ten members were selected to play.
"So now how will we divide the teams?" Zhou Meng inquired.
Both the Lin and Zhou siblings were starting to get comfortable with each other. The most relaxed one from Lins' would be Lin Huiying since she was not born with the fear of royals and Zhou Dongyu and Zhou Meng from the Zhou trio who were liking them more and more by each passing minute.
"Now this is a question." Lin Huiying thought while looking to the sky.
Lin Huiying: "Well, today we don't have much time so let's go with the easiest solution. Two people who want to be captain will play the game and whoever wins will first get to select their team members and then the other captain. Is it okay?"
Lin Fengmian: "Sounds good, then who wants to be a captain?"
Four hands were raised – Lin Huiying, Lin Fengmian, Zhou Meng, Lin Biao
Lin Huiying: "Ok! Fair play, we four will play rock-paper-scissors. Whichever two are left at the end will become the captains."
Zhou Meng: "How do we play it?"
Lin Huiying: "right so for that first you…." Then she demonstrated and explained the game. The other six also listened to her carefully.
The game went like – first to leave: Lin Biao and then Lin Fengmian. The two remaining were Lin Huiying and Zhou Meng.
Zhou Meng won between them, so he chooses Zhou Sheng who had shown good potential in the practice game. Next was Lin Huiying who choose Lin Fengmain. Similarly, both the captains choose according to the potential others showed during the practice.
The teams went like this:
Lin Huiying: Lin Fengmian, Lin Dan, Sheng Xue, and Zhou Dongyu
Zhou Meng: Zhou Sheng, Lin Biao, Lin Jiang, and Sheng Jie.
The two were on an equal basis. One neither strong nor weak than the other. No one was allowed to use their powers.
The first two matches were chaotic – nearly disaster where people kept making fouls and forgetting the rules. Except for the three members: Lin Huiying, Lin Fengmian, and Zhou Sheng. But everyone was getting competitive after every match as if they have unlocked new levels from their mistakes and they gradually got better.
After four matches, the spirit cultivators were tired and couldn't go on. Martial artists were in better condition due to their physical strength. They could play two/three more. But then they decided to rest. It was already early evening. The score was 3:2. Lin Huiying's team won.
And why not she and her brother could play well. But having won two matches against them – the other team played well too.
