"Fuck it smells horrible in here..." Issei sighed as he looked at his room, it was a mess. Tissue's everywhere, magazines, DVDs, and all manors of random shit scattered about including games.
The first thing he did was open the window and light a few candles to help the smell as he walked downstairs. ''Hey Mom!"
''Yes, Issei?" He heard her voice from the kitchen so that's where he went, when he peaked in he seen her currently busy making lunch.
''Do we have any empty cardboard boxes I can use that we wont care if it gets burned?"
''Burned? Issei what are you doing? Is this another one of those times last year where you tried to make a bonfire outside? To summon the 'Ancient Evil'?"
''No, summer just started so I wanted to do some cleaning, getting rid of some things... I think it's time to change.''
His mother turned to look at him, her face looked interested, but worried at the same time. She whipped her hands on her apron before she stepped around the island in the kitchen to come to him, pulling his face into her hands she made him look to her.
''If that is what you think Issei, then yes. There is some in the attic we have saved for such occasions.'' She pulled him forward and gave him a kiss on his head before she returned to cooking.
Issei stood there a bit, a stupid smile over his face a bit as he walked up the stairs, making his way towards the attic he raised a hand, pulling the string to get the ladder down.
''It's not too bad having a mother... is it?"
Once he got into the attic, he found the empty boxes and despite some dust, they were in good condition.
Making his way back down he closed the attic behind him, returning to his room he began to just load everything in, bed sheets, covers, trash.
He also cleaned and washed any figurines or collector toys that he could resell, using his smartphone he took pictures of all of them and began to sell them. Most were still in box packages so they would go for a pretty decent amount.
Putting most of the games that included anything smut-wise and only kept the ones he was interested in playing himself. He got a lot of work done within a few hours, and by noon he was able to throw the boxes away into a large trashcan down the street, grabbing himself something from the wending machine as well.
It was when he was cracking open a cold coffee when he got a notification on his phone, that he got his first buyer and they were buying a few of the anime figurines that he had. All that was actually pretty expensive.
Getting the address and saying he would deliver them, he got his bike and loaded them all, pading them in to make sure they remained safe he kicked off the ground to get a start on the bike and began to pedal. First starting at a smooth even pace, without rushing.
Once he felt himself get properly warmed up, he broke into pedaling as fast as he could go.
By the time he got to the apartment complex he was huffing and puffing, hands on his knee's. He was sweating a storm, taking some time to cool off did he eventually make his way up the stairs with the package of valuables and ring the doorbell.
Standing there for a bit the door finally opened, an older thin man opened the door, peeking out of the door.
''Hey, you Morisawa? It's Hyoudou, you wanted to buy my old collection.''
Suddenly, the door was flung open as the man hurriedly grabbed the box, pulling it to him he began to open it. ''Good Packaging.'' a side comment made by the man as he continued to examine everything, eventually he smiled and left the box at the door as he walked inside, returning later with a large wad of cash.
''Everything is in perfect condition, you've taken care of it... May I ask why you're getting rid of these things?"
''Getting rid of? No no... I am making sure they have a proper home, where they can be appreciated properly. I was younger when I bought these, always hoping I could eventually become a superhero like some of them, but now that I'm older and in highschool, it's not my hobby anymore, I've been thinking about taking up martial arts. Maybe become a police officer, you know. 'Real lives superhero.'''
The man seemed moved to tears, suddenly pulling Issei into a hug as he cried. Not used to people being this emotional he simply pat the man's back before he was finally released. The man sniffling snot back up his nose. ''I'm rooting for you Hyoudou! I hope you to can defend the galaxy from the world's greatest threats!''
The door was then abruptly slammed shut, Issei stood there for a moment as he folded the money and put it into the bag that he brought with him.
''Understandable, have a great day.''
As Issei was walking back to his bike, it was when he stopped a bit. ''Morisawa... Does that sound familiar? Eh, whatever, still got work to do, let's get back... Oh! Another sucker who wants to buy my toys!''
