Landing not far from the ravine, everyone dismounted off of the backs of those they were flying on, and Marcus and Fallon returned to their humanoid forms.

However, now that they were out of the city Marcus no longer stayed in his guise as Irene and took his original form.

Except he had forgotten that two people here did not currently know his secret, and Quillon and Aerial came up to him and asked him why he was taking this form.

Naturally they had already seen him transforming so they knew he could do it, but the reason as to why he was using this form eluded them.

"Oh, that is right, I never told you. Irene is actually kind of my secondary identity. This is how I originally looked before gaining the ability to take other forms." Marcus said, trying to gloss over the details of how he got Irene's form and memories.

Luckily, they seemed not too bothered by it, and let it go at that. Not caring much about his outward appearance.
