Such A Good Man

Flaris stared up at Wu Long as he promised to not let the Prince take her away forcefully. Of course, she knew if Royalty was involved and if they were anything like the powerful people on Earth then the chances were that he wouldn't be able to stop her. But she somehow instinctively trusted this man from the beginning.

As she let go of his hands, a strange expression crossed his face but she failed to notice. However, the weather seemed to change suddenly and there was a chill in the sky. As Flaris looked around interestedly, Wu Long narrowed his eyes at the sky and soon dark clouds started to gather over the forest.

Turning his head in he direction, he said," It's going to rain soon. Why don't we walk back? I have to go out on some business soon."

At this moment, Flaris realized that they had walked deep into the forest and nodded. Looking up at the sky which had suddenly changed, her eyes widened at the angry looking black clouds. They were even shaped oddly like they would open fire any minute instead of water.. She sidled closer to him, rubbing her arms from the sudden chill and and asked in a confused voice," Is the rain here similar to Earth or different.."

Wu Long felt a sense of satisfaction when he noticed her trust in him and answered, "Normally, it's just water. But sometimes, very rarely, it is a bit... excessive.. Don't worry, we won't be getting rained on today and this is the normal Earth kind.. With a little bit of thunderstorms.. Are you afraid of thunderstorms?"

Flaris smiled at him, teasing, "Why? Are you going to stop the thunderstorms if I am scared?"

Without pausing to consider, Wu Long nodded his head agreeably and vowed, "There would never be thunderstorms here as long as you don't like them! So are you scared of them?"

Worriedly, Wu Long asked her about the thunderstorms and felt infinitely relieved when she burst out laughing, "I love the rains and the thunderstorms! I am so glad that it rains here! I would have missed the rains otherwise in the future.. But you are really interesting Wu Long! As if anyone can have the power to control the thunderstorms!"

With a contented grin and not protesting Flaris' naive belief that no one could control it, Wu Long took her back to the cottage where she went forward to change immediately to ward off the cold. What she would wear, she had no idea but still she needed to get warm.. But then Wu Long asked, "Will you make some Takoyaki and Indian fritters for me? I have read that they are very nice and crispy to be eaten during the rains.. Do you know how to make them? It's alright if you don't.. I could get you the recipe book.. You can try it."

Flaris shook her head and turned around without a word. She had to make him food but fritters and Takoyaki were full of oil that was too much! Did the dragons get cholesterol problems and other things? Because if they ate such oily food, then they were bound to get it sooner or later

As she grumbled about him having ordered her and gone, she wondered what his poor mate would do when he really reached of age and then re started eating such food! But that was thought for another day, Flaris decided. She, would probably not even be here when the time came for him to get a mate. Now that she knew that Wu Long had no idea how to get her out of Earth, she would have to fend for herself.

And from what she understood, other than the so called fates, there was someone who could help her.. A Star! So all she needed to do was find one and then convince it to take her back to Earth!
