I was in a museum with many people and children looking at the records of human history. In my case, this was not necessary, as I had lived through many eras of civilization and witnessed many feats firsthand. Now I took the opportunity to learn about the great dinosaurs, the inhabitants who once ruled this planet.
I listened to music on my headphones as I observed the Triceratops skeleton on display for the public.
"It must be really cool to see these guys alive. What I wouldn't give to see one alive." I whispered as I walked to another part of the museum.
I have to admit that I lost track of time on this little excursion, the history of planet Earth always has hidden curiosities and mysteries, as the old saying goes: there is more to it than meets the eye.
I looked at the clock on my phone and saw that it would be 2 hours before the museum closed, so I decided to check out the last of the exhibits at the museum entrance. I couldn't help but sigh when I saw the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the most famous predator on the planet, which was certainly much more deadly than the saber-toothed tigers, with which I've had some very unpleasant experiences.
One time a tiger tracked me down to turn me into an afternoon snack, and because I wasn't paying attention that day, I ended up with a bite in my belly. Unfortunately for the tiger, my blood is highly concentrated Energon and he died of poisoning soon after, but it still hurt like hell.
"Hmmm, it would be super cool to see you in action." I confessed, my mind was occupied with the idea of perhaps recreating dinosaurs with my power, a very fun idea, but it would be crazy to bring dinosaurs made of metal to life, or not. "Who knows, in another life."
"Lux?" said a male voice, making him jump for a moment.
When Lux turned around, he noticed a familiar face, and he couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise, losing his composure for a moment.
"Jack?" I asked, incredulous at the coincidence.
"Lux!" Jack quickly approached Lux, not expecting to find the person who saved him from a Decepticon weeks earlier. "I can't believe you're here!"
"Jack... Jack, how the hell are you here in Greece?" I asked, still incredulous at the coincidence. "We're an ocean away from your home."
"I'm the one asking, you've been disappearing like a ghost all this time, a lot has happened in these weeks." Jack was obviously happy to see a familiar face again.
"I'm just away from the chaos in the USA, don't judge me just because I want a normal life." I was sincere in my words, if there was one place I wanted to get away from, it was the main stage of alien battles. "But I can see you seem more refreshed."
"When you almost see the world destroyed, sometimes we change a little." Jack smiled, feeling confident.
"The way you speak makes it clear that you are involved in this war." I was worried for him, because Jack is just an ordinary human and could not make a difference in battle, especially against Cybertronians, whose average height is over 5 meters.
"Aren't you involved, too?" Jack surprised Lux with his question, making him tense up for a moment.
I sighed deeply and looked at Jack seriously. "Believe me, I don't want to get involved more than anyone else. Wisdom has its consequences, and they can be a two-way street."
Jack noticed Lux's sad look and decided not to insist. "I have no right to judge you, everyone has their own choices. You saved my life, so I owe you."
I couldn't help but smile as I remembered how Jack's scream was a little off-key when he was desperate when we were being chased the day we met. "By the way, what are you doing here in Greece? Specifically."
Jack pointed to a golden orb in the hand of a statue of Zeus. "That orb is a Cybertronian relic, I'm here to help the Autobots get it back before the Decepticons do." Jack whispered.
"So you're doing it like in the bank robbery movies, I can assume you're noting the position of the cameras." I observe the golden orb, feeling a certain familiarity with its appearance. "Is this by any chance the Energon Harvester?" I am surprised by my own sentence, at the same time as a wave of ancient information travels to my turbocharged brain.
Jack was surprised at how easily Lux discovered the artifact's identity, something only Optimus Prime could identify with absolute certainty. "How do you know it's this artifact?"
"The runes on the metal, they're Cybertronian." I said quickly, half truthfully, seeing that there were some Cybertronian symbols hidden in the golden metal that helped describe the artifact.
"Wait... you can read Cybertronian?" Jack was even more stunned, Curious about how Lux could know something so complex.
"I know all the variations of the language itself in the world, a language from another planet is not difficult to learn." I said, remembering the years I spent learning to speak and write new languages in every society I visited.
"I don't even understand the Cybertronian language, unlike Raf, who has a very easy time understanding the basics." Jack couldn't help but feel a little jealous.
"So the kid's with the Autobots too? I should have guessed." I walked towards the exit of the museum, noticing that Jack was following me.
"Lux, the Decepticons are very dangerous, you should come with me to the Autobot base." Jack decided to insist, having learned how dangerous the Decepticons are on his journey and fearing for the safety of the person who saved him.
"Jack, with all due respect, I don't even care about this war, no matter who wins or loses, the damage is already done." I took my car key and pressed the button to start my car, drawing the attention of Jack and the other people around.
Jack looked at the imposing, wild-looking car Lux now had, but his surprise was quickly contained when he saw him get into the car. "Wait Lux, I don't know what you're doing here or how you know so many things, but you need to know that you're not safe, the Decepticons know my identity, so one day they might attack you."
"You're a good person, but my involvement in this war, even indirectly, would be somewhat disastrous." I sighed wearily.
History has proven time and again that the natural order is completely tied to a very delicate scale, no matter which side leans, the other side will rebalance with another, even greater and more destructive power, just like the battle between Unicron and Primus in the first millennia of the universe.
"I really don't understand." Jack admitted, realizing that he wouldn't be able to convince Lux. "Good luck, it was really nice to see you again."
I looked at Jack and strangely enough, the image of a blue and red robot came to mind, making me shake my head in confusion. "If you are going to steal the Energon Harvester, I suggest you activate the safety lock. It has the ability to absorb large amounts of Energon in any physical state of matter, but it is an extremely dangerous tool if used incorrectly."
"Safety lock?" Jack raised an eyebrow, signaling his curiosity.
"Do you really think such a powerful object wouldn't have a safety lock?" I asked sarcastically. "The safety lock is a voice command: 1986G-1, but I must remind you that you must speak this code in Cybertronian, otherwise it would be an obviously idiotic attempt."
Lux drove off in his car, leaving Jack behind as he watched him drive off to an unknown location. Leaving Jack with even more doubts in his mind, trying to understand the reason for Lux's behavior or who exactly he was.
Author's note: Good afternoon everyone, I'm just going to answer one question about how the protagonist works. Lux's personality is inspired by Shazan from DC Comics, someone who has access to great wisdom, but has a dominant personality that judges and uses that wisdom as he sees fit. He may be the Allspark, but that doesn't mean he's always serious or playful, it's an approach like a worn-out human mind testing your preferences or beliefs.
Another detail, I'm basing Lux on a personality or contrast close to Thorfinn from the Viland Saga, someone who doesn't define a side in the war, but who understands the right time to act when necessary.
If you have any questions, yes, I've seen all the Transformers media and comics, I know how this universe works, it's just a story to have fun and pass the time. I have no intention to irritate the fans, it's just fun in one of the Transformers stories, in my opinion the best told, but that doesn't mean that Transformers Prime is perfect, but by far it's the most incredible because it knew how to use the mythology of this universe in a great way.
