ch-4, Improving condition

"It's already evening huh? Let's watch some tv."

Davy mumbled to himself, and turned on the tv.

"Davy! Switch the channel to news channel." Julian, while cooking said.

"Alright!" Davy replied.

"It's been 25 days since that hellish incident occured, and it took us 25 days to measure the amount of losses of our economy and people.

According to reports, the exact 1/3rd of the world wide population have been wiped off! But there Body were nowhere to be found!!!"

"it is as if someone deliberately annihilated 1/3rd of earth's population alongside the buildings they were living in. And how could we forget about the strange blue screen that we all saw on the hellish night! Many scientists tried yet failed to uncover the truth behind it, although through deep examination of the screen, they have concluded that it calls itself the 'system', a 'system' that belongs to the mysterious 'Tower'." Reporter continued.

"I knew it!" Davy mumbled himself.

"If you didn't know, Everyone can access the so called 'system' by saying 'Status Window' out loud and this status window is a kind of profile of yours that only you can access and see." Reporter said.

"Now moving on to the main topic.. Why did all this happen? What are the origins of the the 'System', 'Tower' and the Mysterious voice that we all heard on New year's night." Reporter continued.

Davy and Julian were carefully listening.

"To be honest, We don't know." Reporter said.

Davy started cursing him out as to why he made his hopes high!

"All we can conclude at this point is that our planet is said to be 'Planet 037' by the 'System' and the 'Tower'. The 'System' was trying to annihilate our planet for some reason but some 'Higher beings' interfered and blessed us with a second chance to which the Mysterious voice became the medium to convey their intentions and message to us."

Davy was extremely intrigued as he was always interested in reading stories about Aliens invading Earth and the hero saving the Earth and Humanity.

He too wanted to be as strong as the Hero to protect his sister from any potential Danger.

"Some people have also discovered that the 'Tutorial' will take place in exact 5 days from now. You can also check that by saying " 'System' Time left until the Tutorial.". All we can say for now is that humanity is going to face a sudden change in its course. Either we will get powerful or we'll get annihilate-."

Davy quickly turned the tv off as his sister was getting more and more frightened. To elevate the mood he said, "Sister! I think you are getting chubby."

Julian started running after him with spatula in her hand and shouted, "Davy!!! I'll beat you today!!!!!"

At night before going to sleep, Davy, in a low voice said, "System, how much time is left until the start of Tutorial phase?"

A blue screen appeared in front of him and the texts appeared on it, "Time left until Tutorial - 5days."

Davy slightly grinned and clenched his fists as if he thought that something good will happen in 5 days and fell asleep right after that.
