Chapter 30 : All Out War

Rukong's staff pierced straight through Sho's Breathless armor, shattering it altogether. Sho was knocked out of his ability, as his eyes went back to normal, and the red and black flames went away.

Sho was falling down, he felt like he was going in slow motion, he was in shock.

'He got me..that fast..'

Above, Red was fighting the large armored cloud monkeys, and he looked down at Sho, yelling, "Sho!!"

Sho was falling down with the staff still stuck in his chest, thinking, 'It was expected..what did I expect..'

As Sho was falling, Rukong came up to him and grabbed the staff, saying, "Your family ruined us! Ruined my world! I don't know what those Takahashi's were planning, but I will rule over all men! Including your family!"

Sho could barely breathe, he couldn't even talk right, and blood was flying out of his mouth.

Rukong continued, "I shall make you suffer as I have suffered. I'll break you! I'll give your family credit, you almost thwarted my plans. Almost destroyed the fruits of my hard labor. The elders from my world saw a special light in me, a special part in me that was bound to rule. I can't let them down either, along with my parents. Who were once alive, but no more."

Sho thinks, 'I can barely breathe!'

Rukong went at breakneck speed through the air, and smashed Sho through multiple buildings. As Sho was being smashed through, the buildings collapsed altogether.

Rukong said, "Don't tell me..that you..a Takahashi..is afraid to battle me? Or is it because you know you can't beat me..you know you are weaker than your king."

Sho talked, but he could barely say, "F-Fuck..you..!"

"Hang in there, Takahashi kid."

Fighters that were on the ground, looked up and saw Rukong smashing Sho through buildings, and they commented:

"Who is that?!"

"Sho!"

"Sho's getting his ass whooped!"

"How is he not affected by the pressure like us?!"

"That other guy must be the reason!"

"Is he behind this?!"

"What if Sho is behind this?!"

On the other side, Kell, Kaiju, Emma, Telli, Macch, Grey, and Carter were still being forced on the ground.

Kell said, "That fool! What the hell is Sho doing?"

Kaiju gritted his teeth, "Such a heart! Sho Takahashi is fighting Sun Rukong for us! While he is doing that, we need to get free and kill Rukong as warriors!"

"Fool! We don't stand a chance against Rukong! And how are we gonna get up?!"

"No need to have little faith!"

"You were just panicking about this Rukong guy!"

"I still am! But I remember..that when I saw my father panic, he would always recoup and get back to action! With the same enthusiasm as he always had!"

"..Tch.."

Carter added, "We are kinda doomed right now."

Grey says, "We are indeed stuck until further notice."

Emma added, "I heard of Sho Takahashi! He's so cool!"

Grey replied to Emma, "Who hasn't?"

Telli looked at Macch, and says to him, "Oi…"

"Yo?"

"No plans?"

"Can't think of shit. I can use my ability, but it's useless in getting me off of this pressure. I'm guessing you don't have any plans."

"I don't."

"You're so useless."

"Hoh?! Damn you!"

"Watch it-!"

"-Look! Up there!"

"Huh? It's nothing but those golden statues."

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

"Huh? OH!"

"Yeah, see?"

Carter even saw what they were both looking at, and he replied, "That golden mist, it's not being affected by the gravity pressure skill performed by the statue familiars. That must be Darthen."

Kell and Kaiju asked at the same time, "Who the hell is Darthen?"

Grey added, "I don't know who that is either."

Emma asked, "Darthen? What kind of name is that?"

In the sky, floating swiftly, Darthen's golden mist was flowing, and it noticed Carter and the others.

Court, Rudy, and Darthen were still inside of the mist.

Inside of the mist, Rudy says, "Oiiii there's Carter!"

Court implied, "He's with the brats and the other two Division guild leaders…they've been affected."

"And so have thousands of other Fighters…"

"I can feel a little bit of pressure, maybe that's what is holding them down.."

"It's like they're bowing! Dude! I just thought of a million jokes!"

"Please do not say them. They're probably weird."

The mist moved lower to the ground, and some Fighters saw it, saying:

"A mist?"

"What now?!"

The mist reached Carter, and Rudy spoke out of it.

Rudy said, "Oi! Oi, guys!"

Grey commented, "There is a human speaking from that golden cloud."

"Of course it is!"

Carter tried to explain, "Rudy, Darthen…you see-."

Court interrupted, "We kinda got a gist of this weird ass situation. Basically, a S class Fighter named Sun Rukong is kidnapping people and put them in those golden familiar statues."

Rudy added, "It also seems like he's moving a kingdom here, claiming he is going to rule over everyone. Bastard is pretty delusional. Swinging that staff around over and over..he kicked our ass! Like, damn! It was embarrassing!"

"You didn't have to tell them we lost, fool."

"I don't lie!"

"Alright."

Kell asked them, "He's that strong huh?"

"Too damn strong," Court answered. "But we have to do something to free those Fighters from the statues. Our guess is that the statues are causing the gravity shit. Oh yeah, and Rukong is bulldozing Sho through a few buildings."

"Of course he is."

Kaiju thought, 'Rukong is trying to bring his kingdom here? Trying to become king here? Father, grant me your warrior strength!'

Telli says, "None of us have any plans to stop this, since we're kinda stuck by class S gravity and pressure. People counted on us..ran up on us to help them."

Emma exclaimed with an angry face but sweet voice, "Court! You're okay!"

Court answered, "Of course I am. I don't lose."

"I beat you before."

"You didn't."

"I did."

"YOU DIDN'T!"

"I DID!"

Grey interrupted, "It's good to see you're still alive, Court."

Court responded, "Same to you, little brother. Wait, we think we have a plan though…but we're gonna need your cooperation..all of yours. Darthen is speaking."

Court and Telli and Macch gasped, "Darthen talks?"

"He can only talk in his mist. Guy sounds like Darth Vader."

Kell says, "What the hell is with all these jokes? May is inside of those fucking statues..get on with this plan."

Kaiju agreed, "The warrior Kell is right."

Miles away, Rukong grabbed Sho's face, and started bashing his head into more buildings, making them fall some more.

The staff was still stuck in Sho's chest, and he was thinking, 'Shit! Shit! I can't do anything against him! I'm at my limit and I haven't even attacked yet! Red, where the hell are you?! Tch..look at me..crying out for someone else to save me. Fucking pathetic of me.'

Rukong and Sho fell into a building, and Rukong punched Sho in the stomach, then the face, and then up the chin.

Sho went darting upwards, but Rukong caught Sho's ankle with his tail, spun him around, and started bashing Sho through every wall and floor in the building.

Rukong exclaimed, "This isn't even half of what the Takahashi's done to my world. On their behalf, you will experience torment."

Sho fell across the floor, coughing up blood and struggling to breathe, and he saw blood raining from his head fast.

Sho said, "You..I..I had nothing to do with that! At..at all! I don't even know you!"

"You are a Takahashi. That scent..and your name..you are apart of the demonic family of what your world calls 'terrorists.' Pillaged the Rune World, annihilating everything your family saw. We did nothing to them, we were a world of training to get strong, a world where we all were under a direct system. You Takahashi's ruined it…you all messed it up, like bandits. As stated before, I don't know what your family tends to do, their endgame is unknown to me, but one thing I do know is that nothing will stand in my way..I'm Sun Rukong."

"Tch.."

Sho spit at Rukong's feet.

Sho struggled to stand up, and his legs shook, "I don't care who you are, dumbass. You're getting on me over things that happened years ago, an event that I was not a part of. I don't talk to anyone in my family, I don't trust them at all. Getting that out of the way, try your hardest..bitch."

"Strong words coming from a class C Fighter with no pull in anything. You have no advantage over me. You think you're the main character? I am. This revolves around me, for my kingdom started off with a seed planted in me, and will eventually surround the beings that surround me."

Rukong vanished, then reappeared and ripped his staff out of Sho, spun the staff around, and hit Sho across the face.

Sho's jaw broke, and he blasted out of the building, and fell onto the road.

Sho was falling so fast, he landed on a few Fighters, in which it killed those Fighters on impact.

Sho fell in a pile of dead Fighters with blood leaking all over the road.

Sho rolled off of the bodies, and landed in the puddle of blood.

Sho started to crawl away, breathing heavily, saying, "I..I..I…fuck. No..no..tch! Fuck!"

Sho was trying to get up, and he had his glaive blade in his hand, saying, "I'm gonna kill him..I'm gonna kill him.."

Sho stood up with his arms shaking, but Rukong teleported in front of Sho, and swung his staff at Sho.

Sho leaned back and dodged it, and he pointed his blade at Rukong's stomach, exclaiming, "Extend: 1-!"

Rukong zipped above Sho, and hit him in the chest with the tip of his staff.

The impact blew up some buildings around them and the ground under Sho, and Sho smashed to the ground, and he blasted into the air.

Sho's eyes rolled to the back of his head, clenching his glaive blade.

'I don't wanna die..I have things to do..things to accomplish..I have to reach the top of the tower..for her. Fuck this..I can't do anything..I always end up bruised and battered after every fight..knocking on deaths door. So this..is what it feels like to be inferior to everyone..? Totally different from earth..I thought everyone was inferior to me..like the world revolves around me. But now..in this fucked up moment..I feel like everything is turning against me..'

Sho was soaring into the air, and he heard his mothers voice.

The voice said, "Please don't give up..son. Don't.."

Sho opened his eyes gasping, he flipped his blade around, turning his body, and swung downard, and Rukong appeared and grabbed Sho's hand.

Rukong thought, 'This Sho Takahashi..he managed to predict where I would appear..'

Rukong did a 360 spin upside down and kicked Sho in the stomach, sending Sho backwards and making him crash through more buildings.

As Sho kept flying backwards, Rukong was soaring above Sho, and there was a golden holographic monkey holding a staff floating above Rukong.

Sho looked, thinking, 'Now what..?!'

Rukong spun his staff in the air, and white streaks of light began to flash above his staff, and his staff began to have a white outline around it, and he pointed at Sho, and the golden holographic monkey figure above Rukong smashed his staff on Sho, but Sho raised his glaive up to block it.

Both weapons connected, and the holographic monkey was pressing down on the staff, making Sho fall and crash to the ground.

'I need to extend my blade to have better control at holding this fucking staff back!'

Sho was using all of his strength to keep the staff from crushing him, saying, "Extend: 30 feet!"

Sho's glaive extended 30 feet, which gave Sho a better handle on his glaive.

Sho's back was laying on the road, holding his glaive ip to keep the staff back still, but the staff was slowly pushing him down slowly and further into the road.

Sho gritted his teeth, and he had tears in his eyes; he felt like his arms were being ripped apart.

Rukong said, "Struggling, Sho Takahashi? I witnessed this myself when your family haunted my world. Don't fight it! Don't fight it! Don't fight it! Don't fight it!"

As Rukong screamed "Don't fight it!", Sho was fighting to keep the staff from crushing him.

Sho gritted his teeth so hard, that he chipped a tooth; the blood from his rushed down to his mouth, and the tears in his eyes made his vision blurry.

Rukong screamed, "It's pointless! Give up!"

Sho replied. "Fuck you! Not yet!"

Sho tilted his blade sideways, trying to make the tip touch the ground, and he did.

"Extend..70 feet!"

Sho shot upwards into the air, and he spun around with his glaive to hit Rukong with it, but as soon as he looked at Rukong, Rukong pierced his staff through Sho's stomach again, and Sho stopped in mid air.

Sho spit blood all over Rukong's staff, and Sho dropped his blade on the ground.

It was silent around them, with smoke rising in the air, and destruction and rubble around them.

Rukong said to Sho, "You knew you couldn't win, but yet, still fought like you had even the slightest chance. There once was an elf man that I had battled in a tournament in my home world, he has the same fiber in his being, but still lost in the end."

Sho responded, "…I don't care..I lasted this long..against a class S Fighter..right?"

"You-…"

Sho pulled his fist back with all his might, and he yelled as he punched Rukong in the face as hard as he could.

The punch didn't make Rukong budge, but the force from it cracked the ground under them, and the buildings around them had cracked and almost toppled over.

Rukong replied, "Is that all you can do? You're learning something valuable here, Sho Takahashi."

Sho started to punch Rukong slowly with weak force, but Rukong just stood there.

Sho said in a weak tone, "I'll stop you..I'll stop you..I'll kill you…eventually.."

"My ancestors begged like that when your family thwarted our homelands. Now that I'm looking at a Takahashi in the face, seeing you struggling like this puts a smile on my face. You're pretty tough, but I'm gonna rip you apart now since you're all out of energy."

"Do it, bitch!"

Suddenly, Kell and Kaiju rushed in by crossing paths with each other with their weapons, and they hit Rukong's staff with their sword and ax.

Rukong flew back on his feet, seeing Kell and Kaiju standing there with smoke descending off of them.

And Sho was laying on the ground, looking at Kell and Kaiju.

Rukong gasped, "How..? How are you free..?"

Kell says, "We had a guy, who used his mist to carry us to the statues you have placed in the sky. We destroyed only the top part of the statues, which freed the Fighters. It took everything we had to even crack that shit."

Kaiju adds, "Us warriors noticed that there were a certain number of statues that affected each part of a city. Destroy a few, the gravity skill will deplete. Destroy all of them in an area, get rid of the gravity completely."

"Impossible.."

Kell said, "You have cloud monkeys dressed in armor going against thousands of Fighters. It's an all out war going on."

Back in the other cities, there were thousands of Fighters battling cloud monkeys holding staffs.

They were shouting off power skill names, blasting them everywhere, and defeating the clouds.

Kell thought, 'May is safe and sound with Telli..giving me time to fuck Rukong up..'

Rukong said, "Do you think you two have done something? I cannot be beaten!"

Kell and Kaiju got into a fight position, and replied at the same time, "Let's go."
