A change in schedule

Hi guys, it's been a while.

Honestly, I have been pondering upon the solution to our problem for a while now. As you have noticed I am not a writer that posts on schedule, I apologize. For those who are new, and did not follow To Walk The Mist before I got signed, I guess I should explain somewhat a little bit about how this happens.

I have some physical and mental health difficulties. Now, my mental health rarely plays a part in you not getting chapters, but it does happen, but let's not go into it. When it comes to my health, for those who have followed this work and my other, Lucy Wickshire when I first started writing on webnovel.com, it would not be new to you. I have mentioned at least once that I dropped out of studying mechanical engineering in my fourth year, due to some mental health difficulties that played a part in deteriorating my physical health. My health derailed even further after that and I sometimes am under medical care either at home or in the hospital depending on the severity of my episodes. I am sometimes, under the influence of medication to help with my pain and usually put unconscious many hours of the day, so I only work say, two days a week most times because of this. When I can work, most of the time I take up freelance jobs because my medical bills are high and my now single dad is struggling to pay, or I working on my other books awaiting publication this year. So, you get the point. But there are times like the past week or more when I cannot put out any content whatsoever due to my never-ending circumstances and because of that, our book is quite stagnant.

So here I was, pondering on what to do, I had been approached to put up privileged chapters by editors, which would mean at least five chapters. So, I'm looking at my computer at the few chapters I had written while I could last week, and I thought why not give you guys chapters weekly?

Now, I know that would seem worse than our current situation, but let me break down my train of thought. You see, let's say, I am incapacitated Monday and Tuesday, but I am not on Wednesday and have been taken off my meds so I can rest. By evening that day, I can work; so I write say, two chapters before I get drained and need to sleep. By Thursday morning, I can still move so I take care of other related work, and by evening, I write you guys one more chapter. But I worked too much on Thursday, so I probably get a fever on Friday as usual, which leaves on Saturday so I write another chapter if I am allowed to work at least four hours. In this familiar scenario, you will end up getting chapters on and off. But, say I don't post. Whatever happens Monday to Sunday during the week, I always end up writing at least four to six chapters by Sunday. Say I post only on Sunday. All accumulated work even if it was half a chapter today, four chapters tomorrow, you get it all on one day. That takes the stress of meeting a daily schedule the editors want, while still fulfilling a quota; and you can get at least five chapters every Sunday to binge.

......

What do you say?

I know my readers are not the comment-on-chapter kind, but I am kind of hoping you do drop a comment, if not anything, to relieve this author of the guilt of being the worst web novelist ever.

Now, never fear, that I will suddenly stop writing, that's not happening, as it would take my death to arrive at that outcome. I know I had stopped writing my other book Lucy Wickshire all of a sudden, but I had my reasons. Book one and some of its book two are available on webnovel.com. Due to contract reasons, I will not continue book two as a web novel. It is instead going to be published on Barnes and Noble, and Amazon soon. The readers there already know it was not originally written as a web novel, but written to be published so,... But, To Walk The Mist was written to be a web novel. Sure, I will publish volumes along the way, but it will finish on Webnovel.com as long as they don't throw me out. So, I may be slow, but I will finish it. I hope you tell me what you think of the new schedule. I really do.

Oh, and this schedule will start this Sunday. The privileged chapters will be up around that time if the editors put them up on time. If this doesn't work, we will think of something else. This book probably has about 300-600 chapters left to finish and IT WILL FINISH. I promise.

See you on Sunday
