Chapter 63: President Xen's Mistress.
Li Wei awakened from his slumber and panted slightly. The past was sad, but the reality was scary. He rubbed his face harshly as he remembered whatever Min Hua did to herself. She poisoned herself, and kept poisoning till her breathe slowly left her, till her life crawled to the gates of hell, till her beautiful brown eyes slowly lost their vision and all she could see was her beloved's face in her blurry sight. All she could hear was his voice and all she could feel was love towards her Yuan and guilt of hurting him.
Li Wei looked at the girl peacefully sleeping beside him. She didn't know why she had poison in her, but now Li Wei knew the answer. Because once in a different time, while playing a different identity, she choose that poison willingly. Li Wei had seen Min Hua fall deeper and deeper into depression day by day. Consumed by helplessness, distress, and guilt, Min Hua's only escape was her journal where she wrote everything she would talk to Yuan had they been together. Though that past has now become an history, her choices remained.
Noticing that Ling Yue was sweating, Li Wei took a wet towel and wiped her face again. He sighed in relief as her temperature has now lowered.

"I am taking her to Shen Mansion." Uncle Shen declared to which father Li retorted almost immediately.
"Oh oh oh. Calm down buddy. Why will she go to Shen Mansion? And she is sick right now? Who will take care of her there?" Father Li questioned and of course Uncle Shen had the answer ready.
"Of course I will look after her. And why would she stay in your house when she has her guardian's home accessible? Monkey Li, you must have forced her to stay here?" Uncle Shen spat.
"Yeah yeah. We have all seen how brilliantly you have looked after her. Who leaves a 16 yea old girl alone in a forest and go on a mission? No wonder she didn't consider staying in you home. Donkey Shen." there came father Li's answer but their banter was stopped by a loud bang. Mother Li who was feeding Ling Yue porridge put the bowl down with a loud bang silencing the two childish old men fighting at the dining table.
"I hope you both can now stop fighting." Mother Li said calmly along with an eerie vibe to it that sent shiver down Uncle Shen's and Father Li's spines. They both simply bobbed their heads up and down before digging their food. Of course Uncle Li didn't forget to glare at Li Wei too.
The last when he went on a mission, this monkey Li sitting beside him honey trapped his sister. Now that he again went on a mission, the junior monkey Li came and kidnapped his little pumpkin to his home. Hmph..
Mother Li nodded, satisfied with their obedient behaviour and started feeding Ling Yue again. Though Ling Yue was now back to normal, mother Li still insisted on feeding her and Ling Yue was more than happy to get this privilege.

"Boss. I found the information of saints, yogis and etc all over the world. You can go through it now." Zhang Chen put down the file on Li Wei's desk and President Li abandoned everything he was doing and jumped to check the list. Silly as it may sound, Li Wei only had this option if he wanted some answer. If this didn't give him an reasonable explanation, then he would simply go for a regression session.
Going through the list, he filtered out few names and places and thought of making a trip to one of those places later. He would make sure to bring that later as soon as possible.
Li Wei put aside the documents and went back to his business. He should complete these things early so that he could go home and spend some time taking of Ling Yue. Well, that was what her thought. But Ling Yue really didn't need it. She was emotionally unstable yesterday and hence collapsed. But now she was fine and back in Z Heights. She had no interest in getting sandwiched between two annoying old kids at Li Mansion and escaped to Z Heights.
Li Mei would come here daily in the afternoon and go to IT department to learn more. Ling Yue thought of going back to Li Mansion with her. She has also planned to visit Li corps on the way.

"Sister. Why are you here?" Ling Yue took a deep breathe hearing that annoyingly soft voice. Li Mei didn't even bother to hide her irritation. Was this Su Rui following them? Why would she pop up whenever her big sis comes out. Both the girls turned around and found Su Rui in the reception area of Z Heights. The receptionist in the ground floor must have stopped her.
"Sister. Why are you here?" Su Rui repeated the question again and made sure everyone around heard them. Those everyone around included the receptionist, security guards and the staff having their break time. As she wanted, everyone heard her calling their super beautiful boss - sister.
"Seems like you are suffering with memory loss Miss Su. You can't go around assuming and addressing whoever you want as your sister." Ling Yue replied and everyone around nodded. It was a daily drama to watch at least two people coming and claiming to be their boss's family. Were they supposed to believe everyone? Hell, NO.
Su Rui was about to turn on her water works again when Ling Yue spoke again, stopping her.
"And as for why am I here? I should be the one asking that question. Why are you here?" Ling Yue questioned in her usual cold tone.
"Sister. I heard you are assistant director in architecture department here. How did you get the job?" Su Rui questioned and her tone was as if Ling Yue was obliged to answer her.
"Just like anyone else gets a job. You can go and find someone with lots of free time to get an in depth analysis of how one get's a job. I' busy. I will get going now." Ling Yue was about to move and Su Rui fired another question at her.
"Sister. I know you never got any education. Then how can you get this job? Did you sleep with President Xen? Sister. I know you are ambitious, but please don't take that path." Su Rui advised pitifully. Her meek and caring demeanour could win her a gold medal anywhere but no at Z Heights. Ling Yue and the entire reception was speechless hearing Su Rui.
The space was silent for few good seconds before various kinds of noises burst out in the hall.
An employee of IT department drinking his coffee and speaking to a friend fell down from his chair.
Another lady who came to get her parcel slipped.
A newly recruited fresher choked on his milk tea.
The receptionist tried hard to stop herself from laughing but few sounds still her mouth.
Su Rui felt satisfied looking at everyone's reaction. She knew it. This Ling Yue was nothing more than a mistress. But what this clown missed out was that everyone was laughing on her and not on Ling Yue.
The people present there had never seen someone assuming this. They have seen women come and claim themselves to be President Xen's girlfriends but this was the first time hearing about someone sleeping with themselves. But unlike these people, Ling Yue and Li Mei didn't find it funny.
And Li Mei was practically fuming. What does she mean by no proper education? Her Big Sis has two degrees from the world's top universities. Can her Big Sis not study if that disgusting Su family didn't send her to school? Are they the only one who can educate her? Utter rubbish. And what was with that next statement? Sleeping with President Xen? Her Big sis has a job because she is capable. How can she say that her Big Sis was sleeping around?
Li Mei was about to smash her when Su Rui spoke again.
"Sister. I know you don't have money right now. But please don't burden the Li family like this." this statement made everyone around burst out laughing. Don't have money? Seems like this woman didn't know that their boss earns millions per minute. Ling Yue glared at everyone and they instantly shut their mouth and dispersed from there. Ling Yue held Li Mei's hand to stop her from punching Su Rui's face. Ling Yue spoke to the receptionist first.
"Miss Lin. Contact my lawyer and sue this woman for false accusations and slander. Inform me about the progress in an hour." Ling Yue commanded and the receptionist nodded earnestly. Fun apart, these kind of people needed to be dealt with. The young receptionist understood their boss would not this woman go and immediately started contacting the lawyer.
"Huh? Sister. What are you .."
"Yueyue, MeiMei." Both Ling Yue and Li Mei turned to find Li Wei walking towards them. They thought they would be the first to pick him up but it got delayed because of this joker standing in front of them. Li Mei was not satisfied with just filing a law suit against Su Rui and hence complained everything in detail to Li Wei as soon as he reached them. Li Wei frowned hearing this. He too was annoyed because of Su Rui but he knew Ling Yue has already dealt with it in the most sophisticated way possible.
"Yueyue. Why did you come to work when you know you are sick?" Li Wei questioned as he checked her temperature. Thankfully it was normal or else he would have given her a good scolding. Ling Yue pouted hearing his question.
"Uncle Li and Uncle Shen were fighting again and I couldn't take it anymore." Ling Yue replied and Li Mei chuckled. So her Big Sis ran away from home because of them. Li Wei took his sister school bag which seemed to be really heavy these days and held Ling Yue's hand to take her to his car. Of course Ling Yue didn't forget to instruct the security to throw Su Rui out.
