Larry jolted up to the blaring shrieks of his mother, Olivia, standing near his bedpost, shaking and wailing. He did not understand the meaning of this because it was late into the night. Why had she done this and what was she trying to say by ranting so much nonsense at that hour of the night. He must have been so lost in his world of dreams, with his lover laying beside him before his mother's intrusion. Hence he could not tell her time of entry.

But something must be up because she would never barge in on him like that.

If only she could stay still and not have to appear so overly controlled by her emotions right now, then maybe he would be able to figure out what information she was trying to pass?
