Safety Measure
"Ah-! C-captain!" Tao cried out - in vain. Before he could reach out to shake the man, XueYa had unceremoniously passed out on the upper deck and Tao had no idea why.
Only after Zhou assured him it was the poison in his system that knocked XueYa out and not anything being broken internally, Tao let out a stifled sigh.
"Boss is so scary," Tao mumbled, brushing some of the sweat-soaked strands of hair away from XueYa's visage before he helped XueYa to lie down in a more comfortable position. "I've never seen Captain so beaten up."
"Yeah," Zhou grunted, brows furrowing as he made his way down the steps, heading straight for the Captain's cabin.
"Wait! Brother Zhou, where are you going?" Tao was quickly up on his feet and rushed over to lean over the railing to watch the bald head below. "What if the boss attacks you?!"
