LiangLin hugged little YiMo in his arms, startled at the ice that had tried to climb up their ship just now before melting away. "Husband, who was that?"
"Our future son-in-law," XueYa said through his gritted teeth. He held onto the railings, looking at the island that slowly faded out of view. "If everything goes well. I think, currently, they are more like enemies."
"S-son-in-" LiangLin looked like he was about to explode. "Not my little bun! YiMo is a baby!"
"Ugh, that kid is what- 20 winters?" Sheng Hai chimed in, distaste lacing his words. He limped over and pinched YiMo's cheek playfully. "Acts like a gramps having to hold in a shit. Good luck having him as a son-in-law. Little YiMo is too cute for someone like that."
The three men agreed on it, yet little YiMo appeared to be down. He was silently resting his cheek on LiangLin's shoulder, tiny hands clinging to LiangLin's white robes.
