Dinner Date

"Let's go Keirra." I turned to the door where that voice came from. It was Czeslaw, wait am I leaving?

"I'll just book a grab," I said. I don't want him to fetch me. I still don't trust him.

"It's already midnight. Also, no taxis pass here. It's a subdivision if you don't know." He mocked. He was leaning against the wall with one hand in his pocket while the other was holding the door. Waiting for me to go.

What a nice view. Kidding.

"I'll book a ride." I insist. I took my phone and tapped on it.

"Go ahead." He challenged, still grinning.

I just rolled my eyes at him and booked a grab. But the drivers have no intention of agreeing. Argh! Why now?

I slowly turned my gaze at this jerk. He was smirking all the time while I was frustrated.

"What now?" He mocked. I want to roll my eyeballs again but I don't want to, it's dizzying. I stood up and said goodbye to Kill, I don't know if he is aware that I don't want to be with his friend because his attention is too focused on other things.

We went out together, but I was ahead of him. I don't want us to be together. I met the maids again and smiled at them. When they disappeared in front of me, I frowned because he was the one who would fetch me.

"Let me go." I don't even know why I'm dealing with this jerk.

"You're so noisy." He said in an artful way like the way I talked to him just now. "Oh, we're here, get in now."

I try not to laugh but I can't! My emotions are fooling me right now, it's so funny. He just looked at me, amused by what he saw.

But in my other perspective.

His voice was expensive.

"Keirra." That's his serious voice again, but I'm not afraid anymore for today's chapter. "Get in babe." He teased.

"Yuck." I rolled my eyes and entered the shotgun seat. My mood suddenly changed with his 'babe'. "Disgusting." I rolled my eyes at him. Again.

He laughed a bit and looked at me again before he closed the shotgun seat and turned to the driver's seat. It was a black Ferrari by the way.

I don't know what atmosphere suddenly entered between us. It was so awkward! No one even talks to us.

The only thing you can hear is him moving the steering wheel. I took my phone and played a criminal case. It's like I don't feel our awkward moments.

"I'm hungry."

Finally!

"Let's eat?" I asked him. We stared at each other and he seemed surprised by what I said. I was embarrassed to realize. Shit, maybe he thought I was asking him out on a date!

"I mean I'm hungry too, I haven't eaten yet." I'll take it back right away. It's probably better that he didn't start the conversation. More and more embarrassing. What is this lord?

"Uh yeah, sorry." He laughs. "Fast food? They're open 24/7."

I just nodded and focused on the road, I don't know where we are now, we took a different road so I don't know.
