The true door had been opened by the Teddy Bears, and beyond it lay a dense darkness that couldn't be dissipated, making it very hard to see exactly what was behind.
The only source of light was a beacon in the darkness, a blue inverted triangular arrow pulsing up and down on the ground, guiding Wang in the direction to move forward.
Rows of Little Bears lined up on either side of the path to see him off. They stared with big eyes, dabbing at the corners with handkerchiefs soaked in coolant, while they watched Wang with pitiable expressions that tugged painfully at his heart.
At that moment, he felt some reluctance to leave.
But curiosity about the outside world had taken over, despite knowing he might not be able to return once he left. He bid farewell to each Little Bear and then resolutely walked into the darkness.
