Swinging her massive crystal sword, sweat poured down Alisa's face.

Three days had passed since she awoke. The first thing they did was take blood samples and study her health. The God Eaters had fallen into a coma after the intense battle with the boy from the tower, making Alisa the prime subject for research. Her body had changed so much that even she thought she was dreaming.

The studies revealed that all traces of the Oracle Cells had vanished from her body, and she had become a host for the strange virus.

But that wasn't all. Alisa was now much stronger than when she was infected with the Oracle Cells. She also discovered that a weapon had materialized within her, specifically in her heart, exciting both her and Sakaki.

The loss of the God Arcs was a significant blow to Fenrir, but this new weapon, created from the strange virus, was revolutionary. Sakaki treated it as a miracle from God, a key to an unknown territory.

Of course, Alisa knew this wasn't entirely true. During her slumber, she met her parents and learned that someone incredible had descended into the world to stop the Aragami.

"Champion..."

Muttering, Alisa stopped swinging her sword. During these three days, as she adapted to her new body, she kept thinking about the strange boy from the tower. Her parents told her he was responsible for these changes and the one who brought hope to the world.

Berserker was the only thing standing between life and death for this base, so Johannes didn't dare disturb him. Even when he tried sending a messenger, he never received a response. Anyone who approached was crystallized and killed, which deterred further attempts.

No one could leave the barrier, not even a fly. This left them with no choice but to use wireless communications and the satellite to learn about the outside world, but even that didn't work.

Through the screen, Alisa saw the image of Yuki floating in front of the wall of fire. He was turned away, his hair dancing in the wind, his limbs spread out as if taking a good nap. But she knew that wasn't the case. Thanks to the Apocalypse Virus, she had formed a connection with Yuki and knew that the energy around him was enormous, used to maintain the barrier and wall of fire.

Seeing him like this, Alisa recalled the image of the same boy fighting a terrifying monster in the cage, a small figure using only a pistol and a watch against a terrifying beast.

"For the world to be saved, the beast must die... And only the Champion can do it..."

Her parents' words echoed in her mind, as did her mother's request.
